Ph.D. ThesisTitle Efficient Load Balancing Algorithms for Parallel & Distributed Systems

Supervisor Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Professor, Department of CSE, TIET, PatialaDescription The thesis addresses two challenging issues related to parallel and distributed systems:

The design of an economical interconnection network topology and task allocationstrategy while load balancing. A highly economical and scalable interconnection networktopology termed as STH is designed and evaluated. Two novel task allocation modelsnamely FLBTA1 and FLBTA2 have been formulated, analyzed & validated.
