Jahangir AlamDr. Jahangir Alam is an Associate Professor in University Women’s Polytechnic at AMU Aligarh. Hegraduated in science from Meerut University, Meerut in the year 1992 and received his master’s degreein Computer Science and Applications from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in the year 1995. He hasreceived his Ph.D. (CS) degree from Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering at prestigious ThaparInstitute of Engineering and Technology(TIET), Patiala in the year 2016.His areas of interest include Interconnection Networks, Parallel & Distributed Systems, High PerformanceComputing (HPC), Scheduling & Load Balancing, Computer Communication Networks and Databases.He has authored/ co-authored over 20 papers in various journals and conference proceedings.

The design of an economical interconnection network topology and task allocationstrategy while load balancing. A highly economical and scalable interconnection networktopology termed as STH is designed and evaluated. Two novel task allocation modelsnamely FLBTA1 and FLBTA2 have been formulated, analyzed & validated.
