Blake Shelton, being 37 years old, has been doing what he loves since he can remember, but truly going after his dream since the age 16. He has always known that Country singing and songwriting is what he’s wanted to do and has stuck with his plan the whole way through. Blake will forever be country at heart, and has been said to be the life of the party wherever he goes. With his outgoing, humorous personality, Blake has done a successful job of defining himself and finding his audience.

1976 in Ada, Oklahoma. After graduating High School Blake moved to Nashville to launch a songwriting career in 1994

By 2001 his song “Austin” hit No.1 for 5 weeks, and has now had 15 No.1 singles to date.

Tying the KnotAfter dating for 4 years Blake proposed to Miranda on May 9 2010, and married May 14, 2011 in Texas.

Blake Shelton met fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert at the CMT’s greatest duets concert in 2005, where they performed together.

After losing his brother Richie in 1990, when Blake was just 14 years old, he later wrote a song called “Over You” which was sung by his wife Miranda Lambert in 2011.
