SY16-17 i3 Data

• Students in classrooms in NYC that implemented two+ LDC modules showed ≅statistically significant growth on summative standardized tests. SY 16-17 and 18-19 are evaluation years so additional data will begin emerging.

• Students scoring proficient in classrooms in LAUSD that implemented two+ LDC modules moved from low 20% on summative standardized tests to 43%.

Emerging data from the LDC i3 Validation Project in NYC and LA

“After year 1 using LDC, writing is more connected to writing genre and closely aligned to Common Core Standards. Preliminary SBAC data indicates that 3rd grade (which used LDC) increased dramatically in ELA scores compared with 4th and 5th grade scores.”
