1. Create a new site (actually create a site when you do this)a. Log in to your account at blogs.longwood.edub. Click the “Create a New Site” button that appears in the upper right

hand corner

c. Fill out the form that appears and click “create site”

2. Add and publish a posta. Navigate to your sites dashboard

b. Click “Post”, and “Add New”

c. Fill in the title and body for your post and then click “Publish” on the right hand side of the screen

3. Change the theme of a bloga. Navigate to the dashboard for your site

b. Click on “Appearance” and then “Theme”

c. Hover over a theme that you like and click either “Activate” or “Live Preview”. Activate changes the theme of your blog immediately and the new theme is visible to your audience. Live preview gives you the ability to see the Theme and how it appears on your blog before it goes live.

Add a widget to the sidebar widget area; add a widget to the footer widget area

Add existing users to a blog as an administrator, contributor, author, etc.
