Creating a Conflict Free Diamond World

Directly: ·  Revolutionary United Front rebels took control over diamond rich areas.·  They exploited civilians and made them work in the mines as slaves and prisoners.·   Had a civil war that went on for 8 years and killed over 200,000 people and displaced many more.· Diamond used for money, fueling the rebel groups’ to perpetrate more violence and continues on.· Al Quada having links with Liberia.
