1 . In tr od uct io n

The bloo d of Yahw eh is m ultif aceted, mysteriou s and th e mo st sacred. The sto ry of Cain andAbel holds the shadow of things to com e. Genesis 4 is w here the W ord of God introduces us tothe concept of blood for the f i rst t ime. By making use of the bible study m ethod the law of thefirst m ention w e will dissect the ideas and context surrounding what the concept of bloodm eans in th e biblical con text, before looking at the blood of Yahweh. The idea behind t his biblestudy is to h ave a practical and actual outcom e concerning the Blood of Yahw eh. Very often , inm y experience at least , th e blood of Yahweh is understood in an only spiri tual, almosttheoret ical manner. There is Pow er in the blood!

    2 . The Blood of Abel - a sto ry o f f i r st ment ions

The Hebrew term for bloodd a w m is mentioned first in Genesis 4:10.

Gen 4: 10 And he said, 559 What 4100 hast thou done? 6213 the voice 6963 of thy brother's 251

blood 1818 crieth 6817 unto 413 me from 4480 the ground. 127 (KJV PLUS)

In order to establish t he m eaning of th e blood of Yahweh, the w ord blood w ill be studied w here i t f irstappears in Genesis 4:10. The Hebrew term for b lood- d a w m (H1818)- as The Str on gs Conco rdan ce- hereaft er TSC - describes it as th e blood of grapes. See Addendum A & B.

The context of b lood in Genesis 4:10

    3.1 The Prince of Kings

    Gen 4 :1 And Adam 121 knew 3045 (853) Eve 2332 his wife; 802 and she conceived, 2029 and bore 3205 (853)Cain, 7014 and said, 559 I have gotten 7069 a man 376 from 854 the LORD. 3068 (KJV PLUS)

Cain & Abel were the first offspring m entioned in the bible. God gave Adam the m andate to rule overthe earth, which he subsequently lost w hen he sinned against Adonai in the garden of Eden. In Genesis1:28 Adonai gave Adam t he m andate t o subdue th e earth and establish th e Kingdom of God. TSC H3533de scribes sub due as kbash w hich is a primitive root for t reading dow n and conquering andbringing into subjection. Aft er Cain had m urder ed Abel, Yahw eh transferred t he calling of Abel to Seth ,by appointing anot her seed.

    Gen 4 :25 And Adam 121 knew 3045 (853) his wife 802 again; 5750 and she bore 3205 a son, 1121 andcalled 7121 his (853) name 8034 Seth: 8352 For 3588 God, 430 said she , hath appointed 7896 me another 312seed 2233 instead of 8478 Abel, 1893 whom Cain 7014 slew. 2026 (KJV PLUS)

W ith t he fall of m an Satan usurped the autho rity over the earth from Adam, but t hrough Yahwehsprecious blood th e authority o ver the earth can be restored back to kingdom of Adonai. The Fathergave Yahw eh autho rity t o rule, because he is th e Son of m an.

    Joh 5:27 And 2532 hath given 1325 him 846 authority 1849 to execute 4160 judgment 2920 also, 2532 because 3754 he is 2076 the Son 5207 of man. 444

1 Joh n 2:1 calls Jesus Jesus Christ th e Right eou s KJV. The Hebr aic root concep t f or a j ud ge or a ru lerw as to r ule in order t o bring a right eous or pleasant life to th e people. Adonais calling for Abel and Sethw as one and t he same. Seth b rought f ort h m any righteous children, Abraham , Isaac, Jacob, David andultim ately Yahweh (Acts13:23). Yahweh him self, did not leave us a physical bloodline, He left us asalvation from the sins of the w orld thro ugh the power of His blood.

    Rev 1:5 And 2532 from 575 Jesus 2424 Christ, 5547 who is the 3588 faithful 4103 witness, 3144 and the 3588 first begotten 4416 of 1537 the 3588 dead, 3498 and 2532 the 3588 prince 758 of the 3588 kings 935 of the 3588 earth. 1093

2.2 The w ay of the Lord versus the w ay of Cain (Gen 4:2)

Abel was a shepherd. See shepher ds staff Addendum B. The ancient Hebrew s saw t he sheph erd as anauthor ity. The leader of the flock used his staff t o pro tect and d efend t he endangered sheep. TSC H7462 ra ah describes a sheph erd as to t end t he flock, a pasture for grazing and ru ler and is associatedw ith friendship. The staff w as also associated w ith a yoke. The good shepherd (John 10:14) in the newcovenant, is a contin uation of t he abovem entio ned Hebraic concepts. He is called the Chief Shepher din 1 Peter 5:4, and w e inherit t he crow n of everlasting Glory.

Cain on the ot her hand wor ked with soil. Blood and soil are both red because of the iron content inthem . W hen Adonai created Adam, he took Adam fr om the soil, and he had a ruddy appearance. TSCH 120 'a da m describes Adam as a lowly hypocrite. W hen Adam lost his authority over the earth inth e garden God cursed the grou nd fo r Adam s sake. The first m ent ion of grou nd in th e bible is in Genesis1:9.

Gen 1:9 And God 430 said, 559 Let the waters 4325 under 4480, 8478 the heaven 8064 be gatheredtogether 6960 unto 413 one 259 place, 4725 and let the dry 3004 land appear: 7200 and it was 1961 so. 3651 (KJVPLUS)

The prim itive reference to earth according to TSC H 3001 is dry land yabesh is to b e asham ed,confused or disappointed, also t o fail , dry up or wither all of these terms being in th e vehement

    form ut ter ly .

Cain w ent greedily aft er th e error of Balaam . TSC H1077 Balaambal w hich is a failure. The w ay ofCain leads to sin and death.

Ju d 1:11 Woe 3759 unto them! 846 for 3754 they have gone 4198 in the 3588 way 3598 of Cain, 2535 and 2532ran greedily after 1632 the 3588 error 4106 of Balaam 903 for reward, 3408 and 2532 perished 622 in the 3588gainsaying 485 of Korah. 2879 (KJV PLUS)

Yahweh our good shepherd, came to deliver us from the sins of the w orld so that w e might enjoy theeverlasting life.

    Gal 1:4 Who gave 1325 himself 1438 for 5228 our 2257 sins, 266 that 3704 he might deliver 1807 us 2248 from 1537this present 1764 evil4190 world, 165 according 2596 to the 3588 will2307 of God 2316 and 2532 our 2257Father: 3962

Ther e are three reasons why God did n ot r espect Cains offering

    1 . Ca in s at t i t ud e of m i n d2 . The qua li ty o f the o ffer ings3 . Wo r sh ip un t o Go d w i t h o ut f ai t h

W hen w e consider t he jealousy Cain displayed tow ards m urdering his broth er Abel, a badatti tude is a plausible. Imagine an earthly king being petit ioned by an arrogant, stubbo rnsubject. W hen a king is tr eated w ith such disrespect he w ould no t grant t he subject his request, how much m ore our heavenly king? After the Israel ites murmured in the deser t Adonai le t theentire generation die in the desert . The angel of the Lord comm anded Joshua to no t be Onlystrong and ver y cour ageous

Jo s 1:7 Only 7535 be thou strong 2388 and very 3966 courageous, 553 (KJV PLUS)

The Heb rew Lexicon h ereafter THL , describes AHLB 2380 offer ing of som ething w ith a w illingheart that br ings hono ur . Abel brought his firstl ings and the fat thereof, he offered the verybest he had t o give, opposed to Cain w ho bro ught a sacrifice that w as late and it w as not his firstfruit s. Abels m ore excellent, cheerf ul sacrifice gave him f avour in the sight of the Adonai, w hoknow n m ans inner thoughts.

2Co 9:7 Every man 1538 according as 2531 he purposeth 4255 in his heart, 2588 so let him give ; not 3361

    grudgingly, 1537, 3077 or 2228 of 1537 necessity: 318 for 1063 God 2316 loveth 25 a cheerful 2431 giver. 1395 (KJVPLUS)

    M al 1:8 And if 3588 ye offer 5066 the blind 5787 for sacrifice, 2076 i s i t not 369 evil? 7451 and if 3588 yeoffer 5066 the lame 6455 and sick, 2470 i s i t not 369 evil? 7451 offer 7126 it now 4994 unto thy governor; 6346

will he be pleased 7521 with thee, or 176 accept 5375 thy person? 6440 saith 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635 (KJV PLUS)

In the w ell know n faith chapter Hebrews 11 the w riter m akes i t very clear that Abel had faithand subsequently, his brother did not.

Yahweh did no t m ind giving up th e glory of heaven for the redem ption of m an. Adam t aught Cain & Abel th e sacrifices th at need to b e made for t he rem ission of sins. Cain hada bad state of m ind and heart t hrough m aking an offering that does not meet t he requirement s

for the redem ption of sin. Also Cain failed in finding favour w ith Adonai through not beingdiligent in his offering and lacking in faith. W ithout faith all works are dead.
