 Rob Archer Rob is an OccupationalPsychologist and formermanagement consultant with15 years’ varied consultancyexperience in both public andprivate sectors.

His expertise lies inorganisational change, training

design and implementation,leadership development, teamdynamics and one to onecoaching. His research is in thearea of meaning in work,

 Acceptance and CommitmentTherapy and mental toughness.

Sadly, since appearing withBobster on ‘Faking It’, he nolonger has time to hone his dogdancing skills.

 Dr Amelia Wise Amelia is a CharteredPsychologist and former TVand video Producer with 20years corporate experience.

She is a leading expert incareer change and development.

 Amelia pioneered research onthe topic of career change in

30somethings and her work hasbeen published in academic andpractitioner journals, as well asthe popular press.

She has worked with a widerange of public and privatesector organisations specialisingin selection and assessment,career development, trainingand outplacement provision.

 As Occupational Psychologists we applyscientific methods to understanding human behaviour.

Change is a constant of modern work, yet 70%of change projects fail (McKinsey, 2008). Worse,when handled badly, change projects leave peoplefeeling stressed, cynical and lacking in purpose.

Our values

We set up Bloom because we wanted to stand by our values. This doesn’tmean that we’re perfect, but it does mean that we try to do the right thing through what we do, not just what we say.

We think there’s too much ‘advice’flying around. We trained to bepsychologists because we wanted tobe able to differentiate what werecommend by using solid, scientificevidence. The result is that we onlyuse interventions that have a clearevidence base behind them.

We want people to haveexperiences with us that are worthtalking about over watercoolers!

We encourage people to makechanges based on betterunderstanding of their ownstrengths, values and personalitypreferences. By starting with whatpeople already do well, we makechange that feels authentic andwhich lasts.

Somewhere out there is a rockingchair with our names on it. If wecan’t look back knowing we madea tangible difference to our clients,then what’s the point?
