General Report
As our President is still overseas, (I think), and just a small Executive meeting, there is not a lot for this edition of Fine Cut.
One of the main issues discussed was the Annual General Meeting.
Now, before you all shudder, yes, it come around in September each year!
Sadly, like all Annual General Meetings, it is conspicuous by member ab-sence .
The date is Tuesday, September 20th 2016. at 1900 hrs.. That’s 7 Pm !
As usual, all positions are up for grabs, so think what you can do for your Club.
Committee nomination forms are included in this issue of Fine Cut.
Saturday workshop.
Another item which was discussed, is one of making some display boxes for Carole, a Lady who makes and sells Jewellery from Leura. It was decided that we will make one from timber, (pine) donated by Daniel, and show her. I have been in touch with Carole and arrange a day and time.
So Tuesday and Saturday are the day’s to complete this project. We do have a photo and sizes. Let’s do it!!
What’s On
BBQ.
We have managed to secure a BBQ at Masters in Penrith, (Mulgoa Rd), for November 12th 2016. while it is advance notice, it gives time for members to mark the calendar for that date. Please consider helping out.
Even if you ’ re on the right track, you will get run over
if you just sit there.

AGM,, After the Annual general meeting, a tool sale will be held, where all members are invited to bring along some tools which they no longer require. (Club will take a percentage) Everyone has tools which are useful, but have not been used for a number of years, so, this is an opportunity to pass them on to a more needy person. Also, I am told, (as I will not be there), that a supper will be served. (ED)
