Notice before using ThankyouforpurchasingourBluetoothHeadsetHCB35.Firstofall,pleasechecktofindeverythinginyourpackageandcare-fullystudytheuserguidetoknowthefunctiondetails.HCB35isdevelopedbytheinnovativeBluetoothwirelesstechnology,enabledtoconnecttheBluetoothmobilephonedesignedwithAudioGateway(HCB�8/HCB2�),PDA,desktopandnotebookwiththeUSBBluetoothDongleplugged-in,etc.Beforeusingit,pleaseconfirmyourmobilephonecomplieswithBluetoothV�.�/V�.2 and supports theBluetoothHeadset orHandsfreeProfile.

4. Charging the Headset HCB35comeswithaLithiumPolymerbatterybuilt-in.�.Plugthetravelchargerintothepowersocket.2.Plug theendof the travelcharger into thepower interface

adapteroftheHeadset.3.Whilecharging,theindicatorwillturnred;whenchargingiscompleted,theredindicatorwillshutofforflashesred.

Note:Chargingtimeisaround90~�20minutes.●Forfirsttimeuse,makesuretofullyrechargetheHeadsetupto

4hours.Afteralongtimeofnotusingit(aroundonemonth),whilerecharging,ittakesawhilefortheindicatortoturnred.

●Whilecharging,pleasedonotusetheHeadset.●PleaseusetheoriginalchargertorechargetheHeadset.●Whentheindicatorflashestheredlight,itmeansthebatteryis

low,pleaserechargetheHeadsetrightaway.●PleaserechargetheHeadsetwithinthetemperaturerangeof-10

5. Power On/ Off�.Pressandholdthefunctionbuttonfor2~3seconds,thepowerwillturnonaftertheindicatorflashesthebluelight3times.

2.Toturnthepoweroff,pressandholdthefunctionbuttonfor2~3secondsuntilyouseetheredindicatorflash3times.

●WhileturningtheHeadseton,youwillhearthe“DuDu”soundfrom the receiver.Theblue indicator lightwill flash5 times,then2times,andafterrepeatingthisfor5times,theindicatorwillflashthebluelightevery3secondstocomeintoastandbymode.

●WhiletheHeadsetisturnedon,itwillautomaticallysearchforthepaireddevice.Under“ON”modeandwithintheeffectiverangeof10metersfromtheHeadset,theindicatorwillflashthebluelighttoindicatethatitenteredtheconnectingmode.

●Whenturningtheheadsetoff,youwillhearone“Bi”soundfol-lowedbytwo“Du”sounds,thentheindicatorwillshutoffafterflashingtheredlightforafewtimes.

6. Pairing the Headset (or any Bluetooth Device)Youmustpair theHeadsetwithyourBluetoothphoneoranyBluetoothdevicebeforeyouusetheHeadsetforthefirsttime.�.EnsuretheHeadsetisoff.2.Pressandholdthefunctionbuttonfor5secondsuntiltheblueindicatorlightflasheswiththeredindicatorlighttoenterthepairingmode.

3.Ensure your mobile phone has the Bluetooth function andstart the Bluetooth new device searching function. Pleasefollowtheinstructionsofyourmobilephonetoproceedtheoperation.

4.WhenyourmobilephoneisinthestageofsearchinganewBluetoothdevice,itwillfindHCB35.

5.PleasechooseandconfirmHCB35.6.KeyintheHeadsetPassword“0000”andpressYES.Ifthepairingissuccessful,theindicatorturnstoflashthebluelightonly. Forsomemobilephones,afterpairingyoumayhaveto select andconfirmHCB35again to start theconnection.(Pleasereadyourmobilephonemanualcarefullytotaketherightsteps.)

7.TheHeadsetisinthestandbymode,youcanstarttoreceiveandmakecall.

Note:●If thepairing isnot successful, theHeadsetwill return to the

standbymode,pleaserepeatthepairingprocesstotrythepair-ingagain.

●Whilepairing,itisbettertokeepthedistancebetweenthemo-bilephoneandHeadsetaround�0cmto�mandmakesurenometalobjectsarebetween.

●Whilepairing theHeadsetwithotherBluetoothdevice,whenthedevice asks for thePassword, pleasekey-in “0000”. Formoredetails,pleasecheckthemanualofyourBluetoothdevicetoproceedtheoperation.

●Eventhoughthefollowingsituationshappen,thepaireddevicesremainpairing.

-Thepowerforoneofthedevicesisoff.-Theserviceforoneofthedevicesisoff.-Oneofthedevicesisre-switchedon.

7. Wearing the Headset According toyourpreference, adjust theheadsetonyour leftorrightear.

8. Answering the calls

�.Whilethereisacallcoming,waituntilyouheartheringingfrom your Headset receiver to press the function button toanswerthecall.

2.Ifthemobilephoneisringingfirst,waituntiltheHeadsetisringing,thenpressthefunctionbutton.

3.Whileansweringthecalls,theblueindicatorlightflashes4timeseachsecond.

4.IfthemobilephoneisringingandyourHeadsetisoff,turn

onyourHeadsetfirst,thenpressthefunctionbuttontoanswerthecall.

5. Ifyourmobilephonehas the functionofautomatically re-ceivingcallsandyoualreadysetitup,whilethecalliscom-ing,yourHeadsetcanreceivethecallautomaticallywithoutpressingthefunctionbutton.

Note:●Forsomemobilephones,theringingsoundoftheHeadsetmay

bethesameastheringingsoundofthemobilephone,suchasNokia…

●Forsomemobilephones, the ringingsoundof theHeadset isnotthesameastheringingsoundofthemobilephone,suchasMotorola…

9. Refusing callsWaittoheartheringingfromyourreceiver,thenpressandholdthe function button for 2~3 seconds until you hear the “Du”soundtorefusethecalls.

10. Ending calls �.Whentheconversationisover,pressthefunctionbuttonto

endcalls.2.Waituntiltheotherendhangsupthephonetoendcalls.

�.Ifyourmobilephonesupportsthevoicedialingfunction,youcanusethisfunctionwithyourHeadsettoo.

2. Under the standby or connecting mode, press the functionbuttonof theHeadsetandfollowthemobilephoneinstruc-tionstoproceedwiththevoicedialing.

Note:●Theactivationofthevoicedialingfunctionwilldependonthe

designofyourmobilephone.●TheworkingrangeoftheBluetoothHeadsetis5metersindoors

and5~�0metersoutdoors.12. Redialing

�.Ifyourmobilephonesupportstheredialingfunction,youcanusethisfunctionwithyourHeadsettoo.

2.Under the standbyor connectingmode,press thedecreasevolumekey(-)oftheHeadsetfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearthe“Du”soundtoredialthelastcall.

13. Mute �.Duringaphoneconversation,pressthedecrease(-)andin-

crease (+) volume key at the same time until you hear the“Du”sound,thentheotherendwillnothearyou.

2.Underthemutemode,youwillheartheintermittent“Du”sound.

14. Transferring calls�.WhenyouareansweringthecallwiththeHeadset,pressthe

increase(+)volumekeyfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearone“Du”sound,thenthecallwillbetransferredtoyourmobilephone.

2.Whenyouareansweringthecallwiththemobilephone,pressthefunctionbuttonofthemobilephonetotransferthecalltoyourHeadset.Forsomemobilephones,thephoneLCDwillshowthetransferringsign,somewillnot.

Note:●Toactivatethisfunction,yourmobilephonemustsupportthe

Handsfreemode.Formoredetails,pleasecheckthemanualofyourmobilephone.

15. Maintaining calls�.WhenyouareansweringthecallwiththeHeadset,pressthe

decrease(-)volumekeyfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearone“Du”sound,thenthecallwillbemaintained.Ifthereisaninterruptingcallcoming,theHeadsetwillansweritautomati-cally.

2.Pressthedecrease(-)volumekeyfor2~3secondsuntilyouhear one “Du” sound to end themaintaining call function.Alsodothistorenewthecall.

16. Ending Call 1 and answering Call 2WhileyouareansweringCall�fromyourHeadset,andhavingtheinterruptingcall,youwillhearthenotifying“DuDu”sound.Pressandholdthedecrease(-)volumebuttonfor4~5secondsuntilyouhearone“Du”soundfollowedbythemusic,Call1willbeendedandtheinterruptingcall(Call2)willbeansweredautomatically.

communicationsagentprovidesthisservice.●Toactivatethisfunction,pleaserefertotheinstructionsofyour

17. Triple phone conversation�.WhileyouareansweringCall�fromyourHeadsetandhav-ingtheinterruptingcall,youwillhearthenotifying“DuDu”sound. Press thedecrease (-) volumekey for2~3 seconds

untilyouhearthe“Du”sound,Call1willbemaintainedandtheinterruptingcall(Call2)willbeansweredautomatically.

2.Toproceedthetriplephoneconversationwhileyouarean-sweringtheinterruptingcall(Call2),presstheincrease(+)volumekeyfor2~3secondsuntilyouhearthe“Du”sound,themaintainedCall �will be renewed, then the three endscantalktogether.

3.Toendthetriplephoneconversation,pressthefunctionbut-ton,thenCall�andCall2willbehangeduptogether.

Note:●Toactivatethisfunction,youmustmakesuretheassignedtele-

communicationsagentsupportsthisservice.●Toactivatethisfunction,pleaserefertotheinstructionsofyour

●Whenthetriplephoneconversationisonboard,itcannotreturntothemodeofhavingonlyCall�orCall2.

●Whenthetriplephoneconversationhasnotbeenactivated,youcanpressthedecrease(-)volumekeyfor2~3secondstoeasilytransferthecallsbetweenCall�andCall2.

●IfCall1ismaintainedandCall2isonline,quicklypressthefunctionbuttontoendCall2andrenewCall�.

18. Adjusting the Volume Duringacall,youmayadjusttheHeadset’svolume.
