Fresh WaterThere is half a percent of fresh water in the world that is released. Lakes , Ponds,

Rivers and Streams are fresh water habitats. Lakes and Ponds are basins of water surrounded by land.

Fresh Water slide 2

There is about 3% of fresh water on earth. The fresh water we have is cleaned and reused over and over.

Page 4: DocumentBm

Salt WaterThere is about 97% of salt water in the world. There are many kinds of fish,

crocodiles, and sharks. Lakes , Ponds, Rivers and Streams are fresh water habitats. There are also swamps, bogs and marshes.

The Water Cycle

The Water Cycle is rotation of water pouring from a cloud and rising back up into the cloud to pour out again. The cloud that the rain pours from is has extra water that turns into ice called hail when it falls to the ground.

The Water Cycle Slide 2

Earth is known as the water planet, or the blue planet because oceans cover about 70% of the surface of earth, and contain over 97% of all water on earth. Fortunately, the water supply constantly renewed through the water cycle.

Ocean Topragraphy

The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean on the world. The Pacific Ocean takes up more of the world then all of the land put together. The Arctic Ocean is the smallest of them all.

Currents and tides

Currents carry heat the influence the climate. The highest point the tides reach there highest is called high tides. Ocean water is salty. The saltiness comes from a chemical called Sodium Chloride

Page 9: DocumentBm

How do humans effect the water?

They effect the water by putting trash and making the water dirty. The trash they put in the ocean is polluting the water

Ocean Topography

The Surface Water Ocean Topography Mission proposed NASA mission to take the first global survey of Earth`s surface water.

The Water Cycle Slide 2

The Water Cycle also can be called Hydrologic Cycle. Since the water cycle is a cycle there is no beginning or end. Water can change among states Liquid, vapor and ice various places in the water cycle.
