The switchgear is in accordance with IEC 62271-200 and 60694 relating to the manufacture of medium voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies.

For 7.2kV panels:Metal-clad switchgear with all cubicles contains 2 rows of Vacuum Circuit Breakers: 800W-2300H-1800D.Metal-clad switchgear cubicle contains only one Vacuum circuit breaker: 800W-1800H-1500D.

7. Protection

The switchgear is protected by Digital protection relays of Schneider or some dierent brands, sometimes installed electro-magnetic protection relays as customer request.

At BMC Switchboard Manufacture JSC. We oer a range of Power Distribution Boards with sophisticated options of power conditioning and monitoring.

Our free standing or wall mounting Power Distribution Boards are either manufactured to suit individual customer requirements or can be selected from a range of standard designs that have been tested and proved by installation.

Wiring access to the base of the Power Distribution Boards can be gained by tting an under oor plinth.

The connection from Main Busbar to Branch Circuit Breaker are either at copper bars or cables.

BMC oers a wide range of solutions for automatic power factor compensation for small and big needs. The PFC-systems can be delivered separately or integrated in the switchboards.

The condensators have pressure valves for safety and they are self-healing.

The busbar system has been placed in a completely separate compartment making the system safe to install and use.

Ventilation is considered carefully in our design to make sure that system operating well without any derating of capacity & working life.

The PFC-systems can be equipped with either electronic or microprocessor-based controllers for 6 - 12 steps. The maximum powers are 100kVar and 300 kVar for each unit.By connecting several units together, can all compensation need be fullled.

BMC also has a complete range of power factor correction systems with blocking lters, which is solution for networks with harmonic waves resulting e.g. from use of frequency inverters, where automatic power factor compensa-tion with blocking lters is necessary.

The BMC has a cassette structure, where all the components for each step have been placed in a cassette. This solution results in an easily expandable system which is also easy to maintain.

The BMC MCC Motor Control Centres are versatile solutions for the needs of the industry even with high nominal currents.

The BMC MCC - system is used in realisation of various types of solutions for the supply and control of electrical motors. With a wide range of selection, form 2b up to 4b, the outgo-ing units can be withdrawable, removable or xed. The system also includes instrumentation cabinets, integrated power factor compensation solutions and a busbar trunking system.

BMC products are always delivered ready-to-install and special attention has been paid to the productivity of installa-tion. The BMC switchboards are recognised by their modern and stylish colouring: intermediate parts are graphite grey whereas the panels are beige.

Compact Transformer Substation

1. Application and use:

The factory assembled compact substations can be used for the MV power supply of industry, residential quarter and other building complexes

2. Conditions of use:

The compact substation is stand-alone constructions with small dimensions. Erection and dimensions are so provided, that set up, operation and maintenance are without problems possible even on public sidewalks and industry areas. All operations can be done by opened doors in front of the station.

4. Housing construction:

The compact substations type CS-400, CS-1000 and CS-2000 are factory assembled and have MV-room, transformer-room and LV-room.After connection of the MV and LV cables is the station ready for operation.The housing is manufactured as metal-sheet bended constructions.All parts are put on a U type rolled steel frame, it is used for supporting, lifting of the complete station.A simple removable roof (xing screws must be unscrewed in the transformer section).

Material and surface treatment:Housings of CS-400 are made by galvanized steel sheet, thickness of 2 mm and painted by powder coated, thick-ness of coating > 70 m.Housing of CS-1000 and CS-2000 is made by steel sheet of 2 mm for cover and 4 mm for frame as containers, painted by marine painting process, thickness of outer coating > 70 m.Standard colour: light grey (RAL 7032)
