Background and Description

At the Annual Meeting, Board Membership is a key item of discussion and approval by the board. Officers serve 2-year terms with a maximum of 4 terms or 8 years.

Current Status of Officer terms: John (JB) Birney - Interim Chair – renew term Heidi Rand - Vice Chair – terms out as Vice Chair Kristen Perry - Treasurer – terms off Board Paul Schandel – Secretary – 1 year left on 1st term

Dmitriy Shevchenko, Center-Based provider in Flagler has reapplied after completing 8 years on the Board.

Nancy Rizzo, Center-Based provider in Volusia is leaving the board.

Three private for-profit child care providers, including one for-profit family day care home provider have applied for the Volusia County seat.
