2 Public Comment (Discussion Only) Rachel Kohl stated that she wanted to know if the exam has been re-written as there is an upcoming agenda item AG stated that she should wait for the public comment at the end as there cannot be a discussion before the agenda item is called

4 Approve or disapprove the previous board meeting minutes of June 27 2017 (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to approve Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

5 Approve or disapprove of Naoita Hansens request regarding an apprenticeshipshylike program which is continued from 627 17 board meeting with updated information (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to table for further research Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

6 Approve or disapprove of CEU titled Nevada Acupuncture Relicensure Bundle sponsored by Online Continuing Education online for 10 credits which is continued from 627 17 board meeting with updated information (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to approve subject to changing the title to AcupuntureshyThe Major Elements Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

7 Approve or disapprove of CEU titled The 8 Extra Vessels and the Extraordinary Meridians sponsored by Online Continuing Education online for 1 credit which is continued from 627 17 board meeting with updated information (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to approve Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

8 Approve or disapprove of CEU titled Understanding Medical Marijuana sponsored by the Nevada Coalition for Acupuncture on 9302017 at Wongu University for 2 credits (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Nagy motioned to approve Second Dr Grant Action Motion carried unanimously

9 Approve or disapprove of guidelines regarding a licensee who is seeking to renew his license after several years of non-practice but has not paid any active or inactive fees and has not submitted any CEU certificates of attendance during the years of non-practice (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to table for further research Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

10 Approve or disapprove of hiring exam writers to draft questions for future licensing exams (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to approve pending the Board having final approval on the exam writers Second Dr Nagy

11 Approve or disapprove of the licensure exam to be held on December 16 2017 to be administered by Dr Sandip Thanki at 4350 E Sunset Road Ste 107A Henderson NV 89014 at the rate of $30 per hour (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Nagy motioned to approve Second Dr Grant Action Motion carried unanimously

12 Approve or disapprove of future Board meeting dates (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Grant motioned to approve 101717 as the next meeting date with the possibility of a September date if necessary Second Dr Nagy Action Motion carried unanimously

13 Public Comment (Discussion Only) Farolyn McSweeney had questions about SB69 and the reciprocity provisions Dr Tracey stated that it was her understanding that there needed to be at least 200 licensees to be affected and it does not affected this Board or the exam

Daniel Davies asked when SB466 would be effective Dr Tracey stated 12117

Susie Rosenberger asked about how she can re-take the exam ED stated that she will talk to Susie after the meeting

14 Adjournment (For Possible Action) Motion Dr Nagy motioned to approve Second Dr Grant Action Motion carried unanimously
