As most know, our kitchen is open from Thursday to Sunday. Come down and enjoy a great meal and say hello to our new chef Mike.
On another note, Art Garber has asked me to thank everyone for coming to the benefit held for his girlfriend. He was overwhelmed with the turnout and thanks everyone who donated all the food, raffle prizes, cooking and cleaning up. Because of everyone's generosity the benefit was a great success. Until next month, I wish everyone calm-seas and smooth sailing.

The Club Kitchen is now open Thursday thru Sunday. It is open 11:30 am Thursday and Friday for Lunch and is open for Dinner; Saturday and Sunday it is open 8am for breakfast and is open for lunch and early dinner. MYC Ladies Auxiliary August 2010Hello Fellow Miamoguers, Well it is already August and we have the Family Outing coming up. We will have a Special meeting in August to be announced. Our Regular meeting will be September 13th, Monday at 5:30 at the MYC. We are always looking for more volunteers. We have 2 more Children's parties coming up. Check newsletter for flyers to sign up your child. Children MUST be signed up by the event cut-off dates. We have a fundraiser Raffle posted at the Bar, tickets available $5.00 each. Great Prizes. The 100th Anniversary of the Henry E. Bishop
predicted log race.This year marks the 100th anniversary of the first Bishop's Cup race, held in 1910 and won by the Miamogue Yacht Club. This year the race will be held on Saturday, August 14 ( rain date Sunday 8/15 ). The East End Yacht Club will be host and the race will be run between 10am and 1pm. The course will be run from R2 Bpt to R-18Bpt to R22 Ffld to R-2 Bpt and takes 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to complete ( depending on your pre-selected speed ). There will be a lunch after at EEYC. There is no charge to enter and there will be help available to anyone calculating their time by the committee on Monday & Tuesday, August 9th and 10th at 8pm at Fayerweather Yacht Club. The entry forms and calculating instructions will be available at MYC on 8/1/10 and they must be returned to the committee @ FYC on Thursday by 8pm.
