I have forwarded your article to all the licensed boiler inspectors in the state and the response has been very good. Many inspectors from the insurance industry do not have boiler operating experience. Your article described in detail on how the DA tank should be operated and how the water should be tested. This has helped them with their clients to ensure the DA tanks are being operated properly. The proper DA tank operation will not only make the boiler plants run more efficiently but it will save them from having to perform costly repairs to the DA tanks, boilers, and all boiler appurtenances. I know that many of the inspectors have shared this article with their clientele. I also forwarded your article to the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. They were very impressed with your article and I believe they will be publishing it in the 2016 Winter Edition of the National Board Bulletin. The National Board Bulletin is a technical magazine published by the National Board. The Bulletin is distributed to all the Chief Boiler Inspectors of the United States and Canada. Thanks again for your continuous support and providing this very important information to all. Sincerely, Joel T. Amato Chief Boiler Inspectors Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry
