BOB V 2000 - VERTICAL WINDING MACHINE FOR POWER TRANSFORMERS

TARGET

The BOB V 2000 allows to wind disc-type coils on vertical axis, mainly suitable

then for HV windings of the largest power transformers ranging from 25 to 315

MVA.

MAIN FEATURES

The vertical winding method for disc windings, compared to horizontal winding

system allows to quickly perform the reversed disc winding with one only

operator, to have more compact coils and to have the coils ready in vertical

position for the assembly phase.

The machine does not require neither a pit nor special foundation works since it

is made up of a driving unit and a lifting platform which can be positioned on the

ground.

As option, an automatic bending device with software program will be installed

to pre-calculate the exact point of the bending, allowing a semi-automatic

winding process thus further reducing winding time.
