2.) Bodhi Tree: The Bodhi Tree, which is in fact the Peepal tree under which Gautama

Buddha attained enlightenment is another one of the most Sacred Places in the World.

It is being said that Buddha sat under this tree for 49 days before attaining

enlightenment.

3.) Bodhi Sarovar: The Pond, which Gautama Buddha was used just before going on

Meditation. It is being believed that Gautama Buddha took bath in the Pond, which was

later renamed as Bodhi Sarovar.

4.) Vajrasana: It is the place which is supposed to be the seat where Buddha sat during the

meditation of 49 days under the Bodhi Tree.

5.) Chankramana: The sacred spot of Buddha’s meditative foot Travel during the 3rd week

after the enlightenment. It is believed that where ever Buddha put his feet, lotus rose

from those spots.
