How does Lynton Lipaway™ work?The Lynton Lipaway™ System uses ultrasound waves to selectively target fat cells without affecting neighbouring tissue. The fat cells become more permeable after treatment, which allows transport of triglycerides (fat) out of the cells. The triglycerides are then removed via the body’s own immune cells over the following two to three months.

How is Lynton Lipaway™ carried out?A layer of gel is applied to the treatment area and an applicator is moved in circular sweeps delivering the Ultrasound energy. A warm, tingling sensation may be felt but treatment is very comfortable. A high pitched sound can also often be heard.

Am I suitable for Lynton Lipaway™ treatment?Treatment is suitable for most individuals who wish to target stubborn areas of body fat. Ideally, Lynton Lipaway™ treatments are most effective for people who follow a healthy eating plan and who take regular exercise.

How many treatments will I need?Typically, a series of eight to twelve treatment sessions is recommended, the treatments being administered once or twice a week. Most people experience a reduction in body circumference measurements after only a few sessions, and in many cases results are apparent after just the first treatment! The process can be enhanced, and the number of treatments that are needed reduced, by following each treatment with some form of lymphatic drainage, such as a massage.

How long does a treatment take?Depending on the area being addressed, a single treatment takes 15-25 minutes.

What can I expect after treatment?Measurements are taken before and after treatment, with clients experiencing up to 3cm reduction in waist measurement. As a result of some of the triglycerides being metabolised by passing into the urinary system it is also quite normal to experience an increased need to go to the toilet. In fact, it is recommended that patients drink increased quantities of water for a short period of time after the treatments to encourage and enhance this particular removal process for the fat cells.

Are there any side effects?Lynton Lipaway™ is a noninvasive, painless and, most importantly, safe treatment. Temporary skin redness and discomfort may be experienced in some cases, but the practitioner will regularly replace the treatment gel during a session to deliver a comfortable and effective treatment.
