How Do I Get My Journals and Planners Onto Etsy?

• I have the digital shop owner course but getting items into my store and getting the site put together is where I have issues.

• Sometimes we get so busy and feel so overwhelmed with all that’s on our plate, that we keep spinning by the one thing that can help us, that’s right in front of us.

• In this case… you have access to a step by step training that will walk you through each step of the process…

Going Through the Etsy Shop Training

• This course was created from the view point of someone who was brand new to Etsy.

• The training is divided up into module sections, by topic.

• I take you by the hand and walk you through step-by-step.

• Action Step: To make your Etsy shop a reality, schedule an hour or two a week, for the next couple of weeks.

• Go through one lesson at a time, then stop and apply what you learned. Ta da! You’ll be celebrating your Etsy shop soon!

How Do I Take All Those Wonderful PLR Planners and Make Them My Own?

It can be really easy to make a PLR product you own.1. Decide on the colors you’d like to use for section titles. Don’t

over think this – you only need to pick one or two colors.

2. Add a footer with page numbers and the name of your business or ULR to your website.

3. Add or remove any images4. Add “about the author” and “marketing” pages.5. Read through the file to fine tune, add and edit content.

6. That’s it – pretty straightforward – dive in and give it a go.

How Do I Market My Book or Courseand Get More Traffic to My Site or Product?

• Connect with leaders and colleagues in your field and explore becoming a guest blogger or podcast host.

• Have one simple way for readers or listeners to reach you.

• Post to Pinterest and Facebook on a regular basis. Add interest and value, not just marketing messages.

• Offer a compelling giveaway, of interest to your ideal audience – as it relates to what you want to be known for.

• Promote the giveaway via the above methods.

How Can I Get and Keep More OrganizedMy Desktop is So Crowded That I Can’t Concentrate?

• Begin like a jigsaw puzzle and take it one piece at a time.

• Look for related content on your desktop. Create “umbrella” topic folders and drag related content to those folders.

• Proceed one topic at a time and within 15-30 minutes you may find that you are left with a few targeted resource folders.

How Do I Find Time to Write My Book When I Have Other Commitments & Family Obligations?

• Start by creating a general calendar. Add time slots that begin as early or as late as you’d like to begin or end your day.

– Some authors write from 5-7AM several days a week.

• For this calendar, don’t add specific appointments, you want to create a color-coded general calendar so you can find time slots that you can claim for writing.

• Treat those time slots as you would a client appointment.

How Do I Publish My Book or Journal to Amazon?

• Publishing to Amazon is easier today than ever before.

• Once your Kindle book or print book is ready to publish and you’ve created the correct size cover for your book…

• Head over to KDP.amazon.com and create an account.

• They will walk you through the process.

• For more on creating and publishing, there are lots of videos on YouTube and we have a very popular course on this topic.

There Are So Many Publishing Companies… Which One Should I Use & Should I Use More Than One?

• Amazon is the 800 pound gorilla of publishing.

• Their support is amazing, their tools easy to use and it’s free to publish your book with them. You also get books quickly.

• With Ingram Spark, for example, their support is spotty, it costs $25 to publish each; cover and manuscript and you pay again if you upload any changes.

• It takes longer to get your books and the quality isn’t better.

How Can I Appeal to Those Who Actually Wantto Learn How to Take Care of Themselves?

#1 Tip: Focus on gaining visibility as this will give you credibility!

• Make a list of colleagues and leaders in your industry.

• Explore being a guest blogger or podcast guest.

• Post to Facebook – tips, quotes and occasionally marketing.

• Participate in telesummits and group giveaway events.

• Get ideas from emails you receive and ask for referrals.

Tip for Getting More Book Reviews Rae Shagalov

• You can make your Kindle book free for up to 5 days through KDP Select and ask your subscribers and followers to download and review.

• This helps your rank through legitimate “sales”.

• For endorsements, you can just send a relevant chapter or sample of your book to experts, leaders, colleagues.

Tip for Getting More Book Reviewsfrom John Chancellor

• The best way to get reviews is to find books similar to yours, look at the top dozen or so reviews and then review the profile of those reviewers. Some of them provide email addresses.

• Offer to send them a copy of your book in the format of their choice, if they are willing to post a review.

• Amazon is okay with reviewers being provided a book for review.

• You can as long as you are “clear that you welcome all feedback, both positive and negative.”

How Can I Make Editable Online Documents So Clients Can Fill Out Intake Forms and Permissions, Etc?

There are several ways to create interactive forms:

1. Search Google for this type of service: Adobe Sign, DocuSign...

– Typically these have monthly fees.

2. Create a form using a WordPress forms plugin.

– Ninja Forms or Jot Forms.

3. Use Google Forms, unless a higher level of security is needed.

How Do I Add a Slideshow Presentation to My Online Classroom?

• Step 1: Create your slide show using PowerPoint or Keynote.

• Step 2: Record your presentation using their internal recorders or video recording software on your computer.
