Thecompanyuseitssparetimetoattempttofixtheshow'sproblems.Niki,Ms.Cranshaw'sunderstudy,ispassedupfortheleadingroleinfavourofGeorgia,whoisencouragedtotaketheroledespitetheprotestsofAaron,whohasfalleninlovewithheragain.Cioffi,atheatrefanandamateuractor,becomesmoreinvolvedwithsavingtheshowthansolvingthecase.CioffifindshimselffallingforNiki,andsheseemstoreturnhisaffection,sohehopesshe'snotthemurderer.Meanwhile,secretsaresurfacing,theproductionnumbersinRobbin'Hoodarerewritten,rehearsedandrewrittenagain,andthebodycountisrising.CanCioffisolvethecase,savetheshow,andgetthegirlbeforethecurtainriseswithoutgettingoffedhimself?Thisisamusical,afterall!Ahilariousjourneyforbothperformersandtheaudience,theoriginalBroadwayproductiongarnered8nominationsatthe2007TonyAwardsincludingBestMusical.
