Magic Pony Setting

The book takes place in Annie’s bedroom, home, and yard. Also the book takes place in the Magic Store and Annie’s dreams.

Chapter 1

Annie wants a pony. She goes to the magic store with her mom and her brother Jamie.

Chapter 2

Annie and Jamie go inside the store. Jamie is looking for a magic trick and Annie is looking at a chestnut pony poster, and wants it, but it cost $4.00. Annie has $3.00 and she asks her mom if she can lend her $1.00.

Chapter 3

Annie is eating dinner and hears a pony upstairs and quickly runs upstairs and finds a pile of dung.

CHAPTER 4

Mom made Annie clean the mess up and Jamie gets to eat dessert and watch TV. Not fair.

Chapter 5

Annie hears Ned the Magic Pony under the bed, and runs in to her room. Under the bed Ned says, “get on me I will teach you how to ride Annie.”

Chapter 6

Annie has a cat named Tabitha. Ned is scared of cats and during their ride suddenly Tabitha appears. Ned turns into a big pony because he wants to protect Annie.

Chapter 7

Ned the magic pony leaps back into the poster on Annie’s wall. Annie is sad but knows she has a special poster. Annie is tired from the adventure and goes to bed.

My Opinion

I liked this book because it was exciting to read. The book taught Annie and the reader that it is fun to imagine and dream. I also liked the book because it was about a girl who has a horse and that would be a dream come true for me.
