SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

Scholarships are NON- RENEWABLE (not automatically renewed each semester).

 Applicants must apply each semester.

General Criteria: During the semester of being awarded; all applicants must•  Be enrolled at UIC as an undergraduate

•  Have participated in AAAN Programs and Services prior to Spring 2008

•  Be in good academic standing with the university

•  Submit a 150 word (MAX) essay “AAAN’s Black Alumni Book Scholarship will

assist me in….” 

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE AT THE AAAN OFFICE 

By January 18, 2008 BEFORE 4:30P.M.

The AAAN/Black Alumni Book Scholarships are made possible by alumni of the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as

 faculty and staff. These groups continue to not only value education but also give back to students representing some of the

best of what UIC has to offer. Truly the future leaders of tomorrow require commitment today. AAAN and the Black Alumni
