Chapter 1: S teps for Success: Your First BMD Run If you own Bookmarking Demon, then you own one of the best automated bookmark submitters available today. It is a sophisticated piece of software which can be daunting to the beginner. This optimization manual was created to help the beginner start a successful bookmarking session as soon as possible, and to assist advanced users in getting optimal SEO value from their bookmarking. With settings that work and optimal SEO techniques in place, anyone can create premium bookmark links for any site. This manual is meant to be an easy-to-understand explanation of how to get the best results from Bookmarking Demon, for both beginner and advanced user.

To get the most from this manual it is recommended that you review all of the training videos inside the Bookmarking Demon Dashboard prior to using this manual . To find the videos go to Dashboard and then click on the User Guides & Training Videos Tab (green book icon). Directly below the green book icon are three more tabs. Choose the tab called “Training Videos.” Look inside the large white area to find a black link “Open Training Videos” and then you should be looking at something very similar to what is shown in the following screen shot:

If You Need Help, Use the Support System ...that is offered by Bookmarking Demon. If you don't understand something or if things go wrong, be sure to send in a support ticket. The support staff is very professional and efficient. Here is a screen shot of where to register for the support function. Go to your Dashboard and click on the tab labeled “Support Ticket” (man in a blue shirt with microphone headset). Fill out the information to register a Support Account.

How Owning Bookmarking Demon is Like Owning a Truck Fleet

You now own the BMD Trucking Company, “Delivering Keyword-Anchored Backlinks to Bookmarking Websites Worldwide!”

Your BMD Trucking Company has an unlimited number of trucks and drivers (accounts) delivering your freight (bookmarks) to the terminals (bookmarking websites)! Fuel and fluids (RSS feeds, Ping Servers, Proxies) keep your fleet traveling as many as forty highways (threads) at a time!

Impressive! But successful delivery of your freight depends on one thing – the ability of your drivers to produce the proper identification to get past the gatekeeper at each terminal. The challenge your company faces is that each gatekeeper has their own checklist of credentials your driver must meet before your freight will be accepted. Gatekeepers do not hesitate to turn away drivers who fail to meet every one of the criteria on the checklist.

Every driver's identification is checked at the gate. This includes First Name, Last Name, Email, User name, password, and US DOT number (IP address). The gatekeeper checks the database and determines if the delivery will be accepted. Some criteria can be:

No deliveries from the same US DOT number within 24 hours. No drivers using another driver's US DOT number shall be permitted to deliver.Every piece of freight on the truck must be unique.

There are many more criteria, too many to list, and some drivers are turned down without an explanation, thereby keeping the criteria list a secret.

The BMD Trucking Company has determined that since the checklists of the gatekeepers are routinely changed without warning and are not uniform, and also due to established terminals closing without notice and new terminals being discovered daily, it is more cost beneficial to have each driver carry numerous identification cards with various User names and to use a temporary US DOT number on the truck, than it is to track the checklist variables. Therefore randomized, automated bookmarking submission was created for busy webmasters.

You will never achieve 100% successful delivery of your freight. That's a given. Not even the developer of Bookmarking Demon achieves total success during monitoring and maintenance of the software.


Your Bookmarking Checklist 1. Fuel Up! Provide the trucks in your BMD fleet the 3 fuels/fluids it needs to operate

• RSS Feeds - Search the internet for RSS feeds and load approximately 15 into Randomization tab

• Ping Servers - Search the internet for ping servers and load approximately 15 into Performance tab

• Proxies - Search the internet for free public proxies (or subscribe to my Tested Proxies Service )

2. Load Up! Hire your drivers and load your freight

• Create at least 5 accounts per social bookmarking site (follow directions pg. 15)• Verify registrations automatically (training video #5)• Assign categories to social bookmarking sites that require them ( Chapter 1 ) • Set your preferences to match the ones shown in this manual ( Chapters 2 and 3)• Add your web page URLs and apply beneficial SEO techniques (Chapter 7)

3. Haul! Get that truck on the road and deliver those bookmarks!• Main Sites – Load queue with proxies off, turn proxies On, RSS feeds on, change

Fleet MaintenanceLog into each Main Site account once a month and perform manual actions, such as commenting, rating or voting, or any activity you can find that Bookmarking Demon cannot do. Also bookmark a non-profit URL, or another URL besides a news story. You need to appear different than all other users of Bookmarking Demon or other automated bookmarking submission software.

Troubleshooting(optional) If you experience unexpected low successful submissions, turn off modem, wait twenty minutes, turn modem back on, go back to Step 3

Every Bookmarking Demon 'Run' Has Four Sections

Create New Accounts Immediately When New Bookmarking Sites Are AddedImportant: After an upgrade to Bookmarking Demon (these are quite frequent), there might be new bookmarking sites added to the bookmarking sites list. Create accounts at the new sites immediately, as the site might later cut off registration, but allow all current members to continue bookmarking. And you want to have accounts on the inside instead of banging on their door, fruitlessly asking to be allowed in.

New sites added will be highlighted in yellow, whether you add them yourself or Edwin adds them during an upgrade.

Depending on how ofter you bookmark, your BMD might have new sites inside it every time you open it! Always take a peek to see if there are any yellow highlighted sites and make accounts right away!

Adding Huge Lists of Bookmarking Sites to Your Bookmarking DemonMany people publish lists of bookmarking websites in forums or on their websites. These are easy enough to find through a simple Google search for “bookmarking sites” or “bookmarking sites list.” What is not easy to find is a list of sites guaranteed to work inside BMD. Those lists are hard to find, and when you do find them, they are usually not free. Regardless of which type of list you obtain, many of the sites on your list are bound to have registration closed or not work inside of BMD for various reasons. Just add the whole list to your BMD, create an account at each, and try one bookmarking session with the newly-added sites to see which ones are worth keeping.

So there will be 844 more yellow lines in the list of bookmarking sites, all needing accounts created. Some of these 844 will not be successful in account creation. Some of the 844 with successful accounts will not be successful in bookmarking. That is just how things go in the world of automated bookmarking.

Before You Create AccountsHaving Bookmarking Demon verify accounts is recommended. In order to be able to do that, you must be certain that BMD can upload your email. You should verify the connection of your ingoing and outgoing servers BEFORE you use an email for account creation. Both gmail and cPanel email servers are working seamlessly.

In most cases the default values for the servers and ports will work for those two type of email accounts.

3. Make sure proxies are disabled – I get a much higher success rate when I do not use public proxies

5. Hit OK and account creation begins. You will not get 100% success.

6. Untick all the sites at which you successfully created accounts

7. Tick all the sties at which account creation was not successful

8. Enable proxies

9. Select a new browser configuration from the Miscellaneous tab

10.Enter same account information as in step 4.

Finding RSS Feeds for Bookmarking DemonHere is a short list of sites which display RSS feeds for your use.

Now here are the criteria for choosing the feeds that have the greatest chance of being successful inside of Bookmarking Demon:

1. More than one post listed for today and every day of the previous week

2. No images

3. No ads

Here is an example of an RSS feed you do not want to use, due to the feed not being busy enough to give you unique feeds for your bookmarking camouflage:

And here is an example of an RSS feed that has a good chance of being useful inside of your Bookmarking Demon. It is plenty busy enough to deliver unique content each time it is accessed during the filling up of the bookmarking queue:

There are an average of five to seven stories each day on this busy feed with no images or ads.


How to Find Ping Server URLs For Bookmarking Demon1. Conduct a Google search for “ping list 2011”

2. Copy any of the lists you find on any of the sites that come up on the first page of the search results from step 1.

3. Next go to http://www.thepinglist.com/default.aspx and copy your long list from step 2 into the ping checker area at the top. Here is a screenshot of the results I got today – turn out the list I copied was not very new at all.

Scrolling further down the Ping checker results, I find a few more live ping servers, for a total of 10 good ones out of a list of over 200. Most of those ought to work well inside of Bookmarking Demon for a few months. You will need to repeat this search and test method as needed. I try to keep 15 ping servers loaded up at all times.


Should You Use Projects?Well, that depends on your business use of Bookmarking Demon. If I were providing SEO services for a brick and mortar company, I would create a project for each company I bookmarked for. It will help you with your overall organization.

If you are bookmarking for only yourself, you might opt for skipping project creation. If you have huge sites with hundreds or thousands of deep pages, a project might help in your organization.

I don't use projects, but my sites are not large, and I don't have that many of them. I like everything in one place.

If you decide to use projects, remember to tick the “Import Accounts from Master List” option if you wish to use your established accounts.

What Should You Bookmark?You should bookmark every URL you own, plus every URL that has a link pointing to your websites. Bookmark the URLs of your published articles ( I recommend Article Demon for automated article submission from Edwin Soft, the maker of Bookmarking Demon.) Bookmark any support pages you have created, such as Squidoo lens or Hub Pages. Bookmark your RSS feeds. Bookmark your directory listings ( I recommend Submit Eaze for quick directory submissions with a great live link checker). If it points to your site, bookmark it!

Why Bookmark?Besides the obvious reason that all links benefit a site and a bookmark is one kind of link, there are two other reasons: traffic and privacy. Some sites have 'crowd appeal,' and once noticed at a main bookmarking site just might 'go viral.'

Another reason is privacy. If you don't like the idea of a competitor firing up Market Samurai or other back links checker and seeing all your links, then you better have more links than the tools can deliver. The magic number is 1000. You will need more than a thousand links to have your links start falling off the page in the eyes of your competition.

Now let's get on to the many things you can do to optimize your automated bookmarking with Bookmarking Demon.

Chapter 2: The Mysteries of Categories Revealed

Using the “Set Default Category” OptionIn the Social Bookmarking Sites tab, click on the “Set Default Category” icon. Select all the rows, then have BMD tick all the selected rows, then hit 'GO.' BMD will assign the categories and the Matched value, in this case 58, will become the Default Category Specified value when finished (see next screen shot).

Close out this view and you will see all 58 sites now have a category assigned to them – exactly as needed.

Bookmarking Demon Has A Self-Updating Category FunctionWith the 5.5.5 version of January 2011, Bookmarking Demon now has the ability to update categories automatically. For self-added sites that requires category, Bookmarking Demon will perform a self-update on the category list if it detects changes at the bookmarking website during submission. This means the more you use Bookmarking Demon, the more accurate your categories will become.


Reload Categories FunctionNow what about those other ones without categories? Upgrades in BMD have streamlined the process of adding categories. You no longer have to manually visit the bookmarking website to view the categories. Instead, right click on the name of the bookmarking website needing category designation, and then left click on “reload categories” when the drop down box appears.

You should see the website categories being loaded up:

When you go back to the Social Bookmarking Sites tab, there is now a drop-down box of categories available for your use. Most of the time this function works well.

But not in the case of the following site...


What to Do When Set Default Category Does Not WorkIn this case, BMD pulled site elements that are not categories. You will have to visit the site to manually add a suitable generic category for use with this social bookmarking site. (see next page)

Right Click to Select a CategoryWhile in the bookmarking sites list, scan to see which, if any, bookmarking sites have not yet been assigned a category. When you find one, right click on the name of the bookmarking site. That right click opens an idiot box – oh, sorry......dialogue box with a few choices. Adding Categories Manually When a social bookmarking website has been greatly modified, BMD is sometimes unable to pull the categories.

How to Decide Which Category is Best

Here is an example of BMD correctly pulling the categories from a bookmarking website:

When you detect a bookmark has been rejected due to a wrong category, first try leaving it as is and bookmark with it. If you are lucky, the self-updating category function will work on the site and you won't have to do any more troubleshooting. If that fails, then visit the site, make note of a generic category, and update it.


This bookmarking site does not require a category.But if bookmarking is unsuccessful,adding a category can sometimes be the solution..

Chapter 3: Settings for Main Bookmarking SitesThere are two types of bookmarking to do inside Bookmarking Demon, MAIN bookmarking site submissions and SCUTTLE/SCUTTLE PLUS/PLIGG/PHPDUG bookmarking site submissions. You will be bookmarking your MAIN bookmarking sites separately from all other types of sites. In this chapter you will learn the best settings for Main bookmarking websites.

There are currently 24 MAIN bookmarking sites inside BMD. These sites are all in the BMD group called 'MAIN.' When you sort your bookmarking sites by Group, the MAIN bookmarking sites appear at the top of the list, as shown in this screen shot:

When bookmarking at a main bookmarking site, you will always utilize the RSS feed function.


You cannot, by design,add any MAIN sites toyour BMD.

Bookmark to the 24 MAIN groupbookmarking sites separately from any othergroup.

Only the MAIN siteswill have RSS feedsenabled.

Think of bookmarkingwebsites as two types,MAIN and NON-MAIN.

The non-main sites are all the pligg, scuttle, scuttleplus and phpdug sites.

You do not want to 'overstay your welcome' at any main bookmarking site. A “main” bookmarking site is usually a large site that is monitored by a staff person. Visual inspections will be done on the site and submitters who engage in excessive self promotion will find their IP blocked. Some webmasters will block an IP and then remove all tags and stories submitted.

Now let me share with you the preferences settings for submitting to the 24 MAIN bookmarking websites included with Bookmarking Demon. Go to dashboard, then preferences.

Preferences contains five tabs:Performance – concerns how fast or slow you make your submissions happen. The idea is to choose settings that will mimic the time it takes for a manual submission

Randomization – takes into account that people doing manual bookmarking will bookmark news events frequently; BMD will also rotate through a short list of titles, tags and descriptions of your choice so your bookmarks will not be identical

Connection – the mysteries of when and when not to use proxies will be revealed

Miscellaneous – adding an extra layer of randomization to your bookmarking

Visual Aid – see Chapter Three, Visual Aid Settings, pages 17-34

Follow along with the labeled screen shots of Main bookmarking settings on the following pages, one page for each of the first four tabs within Preferences. For the fifth tab, Visual Aid, see Chapter 5.


Performance Settings for Main Bookmarking

Notes:

I want to submit 20 bookmarks at any one time - (If your computer cannot handle 20 threads at a time, decrease the number until your BMD runs smoothly for you. You will need to experiment. But most people with computers no older than two or three years should be able to use 20 threads at a time.)

If you don't want to enter the CAPTCHA manually and don't want to use Visual Aid, then check the box for skipping CAPTCHA. This tells BMD to ignore all the sites which require CAPTCHA during the bookmarking process.

When Anti-Bot Mechanism is Engaged

You do want to use proxy servers. Use this setting first. After bookmarking with proxies is finished, return to this tab and select “I do not want to use any proxy server.” Then change your browser appearance in the miscellaneous tab. (More about that on the next page) You will then pick up additional successful bookmarks from whatever sites failed with proxies.

Do an internet search for free public proxies or subscribe to Bookmarking Coach's Tested Proxies Subscription Service and insert live proxies here. (When it is time to ping your accounts, you will return to this tab to be sure you have selected "Let me define my own proxy server." The only way to successfully use the ping function is to use proxies during pinging. ( A list of 50 green proxies lasts me at least seven days.)

Miscellaneous Settings for Main Bookmarking

I want to appear as.... when I access the sites. With each bookmarking run I use the next one in the drop-down list and then return to the second choice in the list and start downwards again. I never use the first choice because most people do not bother to change this setting and they are all using the first choice by default. The point is to appear different from other bookmarkers and to appear different to the bookmarking websites each time you make a bookmarking run.

I do NOT want BMD to auto-restore deleted sites back into current project from server... I keep this checked. When I delete a site it is for a very good reason and I do not want BMD undoing my decision. Possible reasons: site is dead, have never had a successful submission, site will not approve captcha when correct, etc etc etc!

When all those have been set up, click OK.


How to Use the SpammometerThe use of the spammometer is optional. First click on the icon to Calculate the Spam Level. If the slider button moves to the right more than two notches, manually slide the button back over to the left until you are in the first or second position of the Low Spam area. Then hit Apply to start the adjustment. Think of the Spammometer as the override button, placing its own anti-spam rules to your bookmarking queue. If you use the Spammometer, you do not have to worry too much about whether or not you applied enough randomization in your settings. Undoubtedly your bookmarking queue will become shorter when you do this. But your accounts will also last a good deal longer if you operate in the “Low Spam” mode at all times.

After the spammometer has finished scouring and de-spamming (is that a word?) your bookmarking queue, either hit the start button to start bookmarking or go to scheduler and have scheduler start.

How to Increase Success at Main Bookmarking SitesWhen verifying your accounts for your main bookmarking sites, I recommend following every link inside every email you receive from these couple dozen or so Main group sites given by Edwin inside BMD. Since you cannot add your own main sites, you need to take special care to learn these couple dozen sites characteristics and attributes. As automated bookmarking software becomes more sophisticated, so do the anti-spam measures created and put in place by the webmasters of Main bookmarking sites. Here is one example of the extra time well spent when verifying a Main account.

In the verification email from Fark, for example, you will be given some special instructions. To avoid automated account verification such as is available in Bookmarking Demon, Fark has an alternative account verification task. You must send a reply email with no message.

Fark will reply back with a welcome email message, in which it states that after 6 hours you may begin to bookmark. Another rule!

After account creation and verification at main bookmarking sites, visit each one manually and log in to create profile details. Add some bio information at the very least. Then while you are logged in, take some action. Comment by hand on someone else's entry. If there is a voting button make use of it. Rate something. Do something to show you have been there in person. Add “main bookmarking manual activity tasks” to your monthly to do list.

Chapter 4: Scuttle, Scuttle Plus, phpDug and Pligg SettingsFor the purposes of this manual, the phrase "Scuttle and Pligg sites" encompasses all four types of non-Main bookmarking sites: Scuttle, Scuttle Plus, Pligg and PHPDug sites. This chapter discusses all the settings you need for successful bookmarking to these four kinds of sites.

Most of the settings stay the same as for main bookmarking sites, so it is quite easy to quickly adjust your settings to begin your scuttle and pligg runs.

It is not necessary, nor is it recommended, to submit RSS feeds while bookmarking to scuttle and Pligg sites. For the most part, scuttle and Pligg sites are not closely monitored by their webmasters. In most cases, these sites are being used as an income stream and the webmasters want lots of traffic. The webmasters hope that somebody will click on an ad at their bookmarking site. So they are unlikely to ban any IP's.

Go to dashboard, and then to preferences, as before.

To keep things simple, I am listing only the settings that are different from the main bookmarking settings. Complete screen shots of each tab are below, with a list of settings you need to change when you switch from main to scuttle/pligg bookmarking runs.

If you choose to use both Visual Aid providers, I recommend you set up the preferences reflecting which provider is currently providing service consistently. Each can encounter technical difficulties at any time. Check your email for any messages from DeCaptcher and bypasscaptcha. If you haven't heard from either of them since you last bookmarked, then you can set either as first priority. This week my settings look like this:

If either one is totally unresponsive, go ahead and temporarily disable it. Go to each tab to check your balance at each visual aid provider. If you get an error message from one of them, that is a sign that you should disable that service temporarily.

When to use Visual AidYou can use visual aid during account creation, or during bookmarking, or during both, or not at all. It is totally optional. It just depends on your budget. If you choose to use visual aids, then you can have your bookmarking with the Demon totally hands-free once the bookmarking queue is loaded up.

If you are on a tight budget, the only way to have totally automated bookmarking with the demon is to select only bookmarking sites that do not have captcha during the bookmarking process. Using visual aid keeps you from spending extra time searching for new non-captcha bookmarking sites to add to your BMD. With visual aid, any bookmarking site you find in your search is a possibility.

Is Visual Aid Accurate?In a word, yes. Using visual aid is just as accurate as entering the captcha yourself. It is human-powered, after all. There are employees in developing nations entering captcha for you. It is not automated. There are some bookmarking sites that will ask you for a captcha repeatedly, telling you that your captcha answer was wrong, when indeed it was correct. This is not the fault of the visual aid provider, it is a spam-prevention setting that exists at the bookmarking site itself. Whether you use visual aid or enter captchas yourself, some sites just are not going to let you in. Give up after a reasonable number of tries.

You can go to those stubborn sites and create an account manually, and attempt to have BMD bookmark with the hand-created account. In my experience, this is successful less than half the time, so I no longer bother. If a site is stubborn enough to keep BMD out during account creation, it is most likely going to be just as stubborn when BMD attempts to use the hand-created account you load in. My advice is to just accept you will never get 100% success rates at account creation or bookmarking with any software. Learn to live with less than perfection and just go find more sites to load into BMD.

Chapter 6: Optimal Scheduler SettingsWhen Edwin added a scheduler for bookmarking, I was intrigued to find out how to use it to save even more time. The scheduler saves you time by allowing you to load a huge amount of website URLs to be bookmarked by an equally huge number of accounts. So you will save yourself loading up time. It is the perfect companion to using Visual Aid, the extra function you need to keep your automated bookmarking truly hands-off.

I have had success with letting 3 attempts occur at each site, and having the scheduler wait for 1 minute before giving up and moving on to the next in line. (You set this in the Performance Tab of Preferences inside the Dashboard.) The drip scheduler is a real nice addition.

Viewing What URLs Are in the SchedulerIf you double click on any of the blue scheduled areas, you can view exactly which URLs will be bookmarked, by which account, and with what keyword, tag and description. You can manually change the Date and Time in this view if needed. In this case it is 30 URLs. Hit 'Cancel,' which will not cancel the schedule, but will close the window. Hitting the 'Okay' button will also close the window.


Changing the Date in Scheduler

Here you can see the result of my changing the date on one of the schedules, moving it ahead in time by one full day. The changed schedule now appears with its summary beside it, which lists the name and how many bookmarks. You can also click and drag a schedule to a new date or time.


Scheduler Works in the Background

After you hit the start button, you are reminded that Bookmarking Demon will work in the background but that you will not be able to do any other Bookmarking Demon tasks while the scheduler is working. After you tell it okay, the waiting begins. Minimize BMD and go do other things.


As soon as the time arrives, bookmarking begins automatically.

Immediately upon completion of one schedule, the scheduler puts itself back into wait mode. When the scheduled time arrives, scheduler will restart bookmarking.


Chapter 7: Take Good Care of Your AccountsBookmarking Demon was never meant to be a tool for spammers. It is simply a well-designed program to help you automate a task you would normally do by hand.

How to keep from getting banned from bookmarking websites:1. Keep from entering too many tags at submission. I always limit tags to five, and I have never been banned.

2. Avoid bookmarking too often from the same IP. First bookmark with proxies enabled, then bookmark without proxies. (Optional: turn off your modem after each run, let it sit unconnected for 20 minutes, then reconnect for the next run. This will, in effect, give you a new IP in the eyes of many bookmarking websites.)

3. Do not bookmark the same URL too often. A general rule of thumb is to wait one month between repeat bookmarking of any URL.

4. Avoid bookmarking all the deep pages of a website in a short period of time. In general bookmark only one deep page from any website per day, and always in a unique run.

5. Stay away from self-promotion. Always contribute links to websites that you don't own. Submit news stories through an RSS feed, and once or twice a week bookmark several nonprofit organization websites.

How to Keep Your Bookmarking Links Indexed in the Search EnginesBookmarking websites are gaining in popularity. There is no shortage of bookmarking websites at which to gain an anchored back link for any web page.

So how do your bookmarks rise above those of your competitors? The more you give authority to your bookmarking site profiles (accounts), the more clout your bookmarking links will have. And the quickest way to channel authority to your profiles is to ping your profiles (always using proxies) after each bookmarking run.

Building Search Engine Optimization Into Your Submissions

1. Title does not mean the title of your website. Title means keywords and keyword phrases, separated by commas

2. Tags are not general topic words. Tags are your exact same keywords and keyword phrases which you used for your titles, but without capitalization

3. Create one description for every five keyword phrases used. In the optimized example above, the webmaster is seeking to rank for 20 keywords/keyword phrases. So the minimum number of descriptions to keep randomization at its best would be four. Each description need be only one sentence long.

A Link is a LinkSomewhere in your research on how to increase traffic to your website you have probably encountered the idea that only “Do Follow” links are worth obtaining. All links are beneficial to your website, even the No Follow links. Why is that?

1. Bots travel so fast that even no follow links occasionally get followed by Google.

Chapter 9: Why You Need to Bookmark Your URLs Monthly

An automated bookmarking tool such as Bookmarking Demon creates links which are only as good as the bookmarking websites themselves. Unfortunately, many of these links you gain for your URLs are not 'set and forget' links. And here are some reasons why:

1. Most bookmarking sites you find through searching the internet are using the default settings. The default settings can create very short-lived bookmarks. For example, a scuttle site installed as is will give a link to a web page for only two weeks.

2. A pligg site installed as is, even though labeled as DO FOLLOW in Bookmarking Demon, will give do follow status only to published stories, which requires voting. Most pligg web sites have pages and pages of upcoming stories, and all these links are no follow. And in most cases, the links given to the published pligg stories are indirect links.

3. One phpdug template gives a link at the voting button, rather than a keyword-anchored link.

4. Many bookmarking site owners do not know how to fix their own mysql database errors as needed, so many bookmarking sites will be unavailable from time to time.

5. More and more main bookmarking sites are putting on popup ads in an attempt to stop automatic bookmarking submissions to their sites. Some scuttle and pligg sites are also starting to do this. So you will get a lot of failures in your bookmarking.

6. Webmasters think they will get rich with ads placed on bookmarking sites. Most do not, and once they realize this they will take down the site. So you need to be adding new bookmarking sites to your Bookmarking Demon, either sites you find or sites you build yourself.
