UNESCO Cities of Design
Four half day workshops (Feb - Mar 17) Introduction to design, digital tools and community building:
Session 1 - service design:
What is service design? Methods: customer service safaris, customer journey maps and personas. Session led by Open Change.
Session 2 - storytelling with impact:
Design tools that can help make collating impacts more successful.
Developing story telling techniques to reach your customers/users. Session led by Open Change.
Session 3 - engaging audiences:
Maintaining and growing your online audience.
A walkthrough digital tools to enhance your community.
Session 4 - community building:
Building, reviewing and implementing your plans, and finding ways to ensure continuation beyond the sessions.

2 Three sessions of mentoring/support by designers and digital developers: (Mar - Apr 17)
Following the workshops up to 8 social enterprises will be able to access this opportunity – selected through an easy open call process.
They could help you mock up new ideas, give you thoughts on your branding, help design an aspect of your behind the scenes operations and much more…
Boost by Design celebration event which brings together social enterprises and creative businesses in the city:
An evening event with local speakers to share what you have gained from the programme, encourage awareness of activities and opportunities across both sectors, and help kick-start potential future collaborations.
