There is a lot of requirement to automate the security

systems to ensure the security of the boarders at low cost.

In our project we are going to develop an embedded

security system which will detect the others not to intrude

our boarders The security system will use gsm interface to

inform the authorized person.

Why we need it…..?

We need it for protecting our border

and alerting us if any intruder comes

into our borders

Needs arising to operate devices

and protect us 24/7 while we are

not able to access physically all

the time

Implementation……

Devices are connected to an

embedded system.

The embedded system is programmed to control the devices according to commands given and used to sense accordingly and alerting us via message to mobile at remote area

9IR Sensor…

An IR sensor is an electronic instrument that is used to sense certain characteristics of its surrounding by either emitting infrared radiation

Infrared Sensors are a type of motion sensor that emit a signal, and detect the signal or reading reflections received in their path

IR Sensor detects the things moving around with in its path

The average value, as the detection range is between 8m to

12m. Here we are using 2 ir sensors node 1 and 2

respectively whenever an object comes into its path it

detects and send signal to microcontroller that at particular

pt object is detected

11Buzzer

A buzzer is nothing but a device which

is used to give up a ring or an alarm when

required by the object.

In our project buzzer is used to find out

the intruder and it is also used to give a

signal to the user by giving an alarm

Gsm Module

GSM means a global system for mobile communication

A GSM module is a device which accepts a sim card and

operates over a subscription to a mobile operator just like a

mobile phone .

GSM modems are frequently used to provide internet

connectivity & sending or receiving sms or mms messages

INTERFACING GSM TO

LPC2148GSM modem interfacing with microcontroller via MAX232 for

SMS control The sending SMS through GSM modem when

interfaced with microcontroller or PC is much simpler because as

the conversion of code or data is done by max232

The scope of our project “GSM Based control system” is

immense the future implications of the project are very

great considering the amount of time and resources it

saves.

The project we have undertaken can be used as a reference

and can be used to develop project such as indicating

weather forecasting, temperature updates, device

synchronization, & also in industries , schools etc

19CONCLUSION

In this Era when the number of person or intruders

growing at a high rate, this system makes use of the

mobile networks to provide the users with a simple and

cheap & also a very quick and safe border Automation

System and also helpful in security and safety a bit

ahead
