Glen Moray started life as Elgin West Brewery and was converted to a distillery in 1897. Sitting on the banks of the river Lossie in the town of Elgin, Glen Moray Distillery has been producing some of Scotland’sfinest whiskies. A fire destroyed the original distillery but made way for an opportunity to reconstruct with improvements. In over a century ofdistilling at Glen Moray, much has changed. However, the ingredients, processes and the skills of those responsible for producing this finequality of single malt whisky remain constant. Glen Moray traditionally bottles at 40% ABV but Alexander Murray & Company has presented this limited release of cask strength whisky to showcase the vibrantflavours of this legendary Speyside malt.
