Julius SzacsvayDancer and Dance Teacher

Born in Guatemala, Julius came to Australia at the age of two. When he was 6 years old, he started ballet and jazz lessons at his local dance school in Sydney. At the age of 14, he moved to Melbourne to study at The Australian Ballet School.

Julius completed his academic studies at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School whilst continuing his full time dance training. After completing the VCE in Melbourne Julius moved home to Sydney to train under Tanya Pearson before travelling to Switzerland to completed his ballet training at the Theater Basel Ballettschule, where he graduated in 2014. During that year he successfully competed in several competitions achieving places in the semi finals.

From 2011 he undertook the Royal Academy of Dance Exams achieving Honours, and gained the RAD Solo Seal award in 2013.

After graduation, Julius remained in Europe, training to develop to his contemporary and improvisation skills. He was also invited to teach ballet at Tanz Centrum Dance Energy in Lorrach, teaching Ballet to children from age of 2 to adult.

On returning home to Sydney, Julius has been teaching Ballet, Pointe and repertoire to students of all ages. Julius has completed the Zumba Basics qualification and is also teaching Zumba.

He is also working on his own chorography in Neo Classical and Contemporary styles
