Zu Ihrer SicherheitGefahrloses Arbeiten mit dem Gert ist nur mglich, wenn Sie die Bedienungsanleitung und die Sicherheitshinweise vollstndig lesen und die darin enthaltenen Anweisungen strikt befolgen.

Gerteschutzs s

Gert vor Nsse und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schtzen. Wird das Gert lngere Zeit nicht benutzt, muss die Batterie herausgenommen werden (Gefahr von Selbstentladung und Korrosion).

Batterien einsetzen/wechselnAusschlielich Alkali-Mangan-Batterien verwenden. Batteriefachdeckel 6 ffnen und mitgelieferte Batterie einsetzen. Erscheint auf dem Display 4 das Symbol , knnen Fehlmessungen nicht ausgeschlossen werden. D.h., bei schwacher Batterie kann nicht gewhrleistet werden, dass das Gert einwandfrei arbeitet. Die Batterie ist erschpft und muss ausgetauscht werden. Batteriefachdeckel 6 ffnen und Batterie wechseln.

InbetriebnahmeVor dem Einschalten Drehschalter 8 auf Funktion stellen. Wurde vor dem Einschalten die Funktion gewhlt, schaltet sich das Gert sofort nach der Kalibrierung wieder ab. Einschalten: Fr jede einzelne Tiefenmessung sicherstellen, dass der Drehschalter 8 zuerst auf die Funktion gestellt ist.

Gert whrend des Einschaltens und der anschlieenden Kalibrierung so halten, dass sich in Messrichtung in mindestens 0,5 m Abstand keinerlei Gegenstnde befinden. Die Hand umfasst dabei den Griffbereich 5. Nur so ist eine fehlerfreie Kalibrierung sichergestellt.

Taste on/cal 10 auf der Rckseite des Gertes drcken. Das Gert schaltet ein und kalibriert sich automatisch. Dabei blinken abwechselnd die rote LED-Anzeige 3 und die grne LED-Anzeige 2. Im Display zeigt das blinkende Symbol CAL den Kalibriervorgang an. Nach ca. 3 s erlischt das Symbol CAL im Display. Das nebenstehende Displaybild wird angezeigt. Die grne LED-Anzeige 2 leuchtet. Das Gert ist jetzt betriebsbereit. Ausschalten: Nach ca. 75 s ohne erneute Kalibrierung schaltet das Gert automatisch ab.

ArbeitshinweiseAchtung: Unter bestimmten Umstnden kann dieses Gert fehlerhafte Messwerte anzeigen. Verlassen Sie sich nicht ausschlielich auf die Anzeige, wenn Sie in Wnde, Decken oder Bden mit unter Spannung stehenden Strom- bzw. unter Druck stehenden Rohrleitungen bohren, sgen oder frsen wollen. s Beachten Sie die Sicherheitsvorschriften Ihres Elektrowerkzeugs. Messungen hinter metallhaltigen Oberflchen (z.B. Fliesen mit metallischen Einschlssen) sind nicht bzw. nur bedingt mglich, da das Gert das Metall der Oberflche ortet und anzeigt.s

Kalibrierung Erneutes Kalibrieren ist immer dann erforderlich, wenn das Symbol CAL im Display 4 whrend des Betriebs blinkt (alle 60 s). Zustzlich ist zu kalibrieren, wenn das Gert an eine andere Person weitergereicht wird. Hinweise zur Kalibrierung im Abschnitt Einschalten beachten. Drehschalter 8 auf Funktion stellen. Taste on/cal 10 auf der Rckseite des Gertes drcken. Markieren Wichtige Stellen knnen bei Bedarf markiert werden. Dazu das Gert auf die zu markierende Stelle (z.B. Bohrstelle) setzen und Markierungsstempel 9 leicht andrcken. Lsst die Farbintensitt des Stempelrings nach, den Markierungsstempel 9 auswechseln. Eine Mnze o.. in den Schlitz des Markierungsstempels 9 stecken und bis zu einem hrbaren Klick drehen (siehe Bild A ). Mnze leicht verkanten, um Markierungsstempel 9 nach oben zu ziehen. MessfunktionenFunktion Suchen Gert in Betrieb nehmen. Die grne LED-Anzeige 2 leuchtet. Gert mit der gesamten Rckseite auf die zu prfende Flche setzen und den Suchbereich berfahren. Bei einer Metallortung leuchtet die rote LED-Anzeige 3 und die Balkenanzeige im Display 4 schlgt aus. Weiter ber die zu prfende Flche fahren, bis die Balkenanzeige das Maximum erreicht, wieder abfllt und die rote LED-Anzeige 3 erlischt. Zur genauen Eingrenzung den Suchbereich mehrfach aus beiden Richtungen berfahren, so dass die rote und grne LED-Anzeige abwechseln. Dabei stellt sich die Empfindlichkeit des Gertes automatisch ein. Nur wenn innerhalb des Suchbereichs die grne LED-Anzeige 2 stndig leuchtet und die Balkenanzeige unverndert einen Balken anzeigt, wurde kein Metall und keine spannungsfhrende Leitung gefunden. Leuchtet die grne LED-Anzeige und mehrere Balken werden angezeigt, ist keine eindeutige Aussage mglich. Findet das Gert Metall, erlischt die grne LEDAnzeige 2, und die rote LED-Anzeige 3 leuchtet. Die Balkenanzeige im Display 4 schlgt aus. Die Hhe des Ausschlags ist abhngig von Gre, Tiefe und Art des Metalls sowie dem Material der Wand. Bei Annherung vergrert sich der Ausschlag. Die Lage des georteten Metalls lsst sich durch Beobachten des maximalen Ausschlags der Balkenanzeige genauer eingrenzen. Elektrische Leitungen, die keine Spannung fhren, werden erkannt, sofern sie nicht zu tief liegen. Vor dem eventuellen Bohren die Metalltiefe ermitteln (siehe Funktion Zulssige Bohrtiefe). Das blinkende Symbol und die rote LED-Anzeige 3 signalisieren eine spannungsfhrende Netzleitung. Sofern das Metall der Netzleitung im Erfassungsbereich des Gertes liegt, schlgt die Balkenanzeige aus. Bei Annherung vergrert sich der Ausschlag. Mit Hilfe des maximalen Ausschlags kann die Lage der Netzleitung genauer eingegrenzt werden. An dieser Stelle darf nicht gebohrt werden. Eine Tiefenmessung bei spannungsfhrenden Leitern ist nicht mglich.1 609 929 C79 (01.10) T

Beim Aufsetzen auf die Wand oder beim schnellen Bewegen kann das Symbol kurzzeitig erscheinen, ohne dass sich eine spannungsfhrende Leitung im Messbereich befindet. Folgende Leitungen werden als Metallobjekt, aber nicht als spannungsfhrende Leitung erkannt: Netzleitungen in feuchten Wnden Netzleitungen, die keine Spannung fhren Dreiphasige Drehstromleitungen (z.B. Kchenherd) Abgeschirmte Leitungen (z.B. Antennenkabel) Folgende Leitungen werden generell nicht erkannt: Kleinspannungsleitungen (z.B. Telefon, Klingel) Netzleitungen hinter metallhaltigen Oberflchen Funktion Zulssige Bohrtiefe Achtung: Funktion nur bei Armierung in Beton verwenden. Wenn nach erfolgter Ortung (siehe Funktion Suchen) die Tiefe von Armierungen in Beton bestimmt werden soll, das Gert zum Ort der maximalen Balkenanzeige bewegen.

Drehschalter 8 auf Funktion stellen. Der Gertekopf hebt ab. Gert in Position halten und nicht verschieben. Zulssige Bohrtiefe im Display 4 ablesen. Hinweis: Die Bohrtiefenanzeige im Display 4 reicht bis 90 mm, Ortungen sind aber nicht bis in diese Tiefe mglich. Fr jede einzelne weitere Tiefenmessung den Drehschalter 8 zuerst wieder auf die Funktion stellen und dann die neue Stelle anfahren.

Wartung und Reinigungs Gert stets sauber halten, um gut und sicher zu arbeiten. Zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes Tuch verwenden. Sollte das Gert trotz sorgfltiger Herstell- und Prfverfahren einmal ausfallen, ist die Reparatur von einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle fr Bosch-Elektrowerkzeuge ausfhren zu lassen. Bei allen Rckfragen und Ersatzteilbestellungen bitte unbedingt die 10-stellige Bestellnummer laut Typenschild des Gertes angeben.

GarantieFr Bosch-Gerte leisten wir Garantie gem den gesetzlichen/lnderspezifischen Bestimmungen (Nachweis durch Rechnung oder Lieferschein). Schden, die auf natrliche Abnutzung, berlastung oder unsachgeme Behandlung zurckzufhren sind, bleiben von der Garantie ausgeschlossen. Beanstandungen knnen nur anerkannt werden, wenn Sie das Gert unzerlegt an den Lieferer oder an eine Bosch-Kundendienstwerksttte fr Druckluft- oder Elektrowerkzeuge senden.

Rohstoffrckgewinnung statt Mllentsorgung Gert, Zubehr und Verpackung sollten einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zugefhrt werden. Diese Anleitung ist aus chlorfrei gefertigtem Recycling-Papier hergestellt. Zum sortenreinen Recycling sind Kunststoffteile gekennzeichnet. Verbrauchte Akkus/Batterien nicht in den Hausmll, ins Feuer oder ins Wasser werfen, sondern den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entsprechend umweltgerecht entsorgen. Protection of the Units s

Protect the unit from moisture and direct sunrays. If the unit is not used for a longer time, the battery must be removed (danger of self-discharge and corrosion).

Inserting/Replacing the BatteriesUse Alkali-Manganese batteries exclusively. Open the battery compartment cover 6 and insert the battery provided. If the symbol appears on the display 4, erroneous measurement cannot be excluded. This means that, with a weak battery, it cannot be ensured that the unit functions in an error-free manner. The battery is exhausted and must be replaced. Open the battery compartment cover 6 and replace the battery.

Putting into OperationBefore switching on, set the rotary switch 8 to the function. If the function was selected before switching on, the unit switches itself off again immediately after the calibration. Switching on: For each individual depth measurement, ensure that the rotary switch 8 is first set to the function.

During switching on and the subsequent calibration, hold the unit so that no objects are located within at least 0.5 m in the measuring direction. Hold the unit with the hand around the handle area 5. Only in this manner is an error-free calibration ensured.

Press the On/Cal button 10 on the back of the unit. The unit switches on and calibrates itself automatically. During this period, the red LED indicator 3 and the green LED indicator 2 blink alternately. In the display, the blinking CAL symbol indicates that the calibration is in progress. After approx. 3 s, the CAL symbol disappears from the display. The display shown here appears. The green LED indicator 2 lights. The unit is now ready for operation. Switching off: After approx. 75 s without renewed calibration, the device switches off automatically.

Working InstructionsWarning: Under certain conditions, this detector may give erroneous readings. Do not rely completely on this detector to assure safe operation when drilling or cutting into walls with live electrical wiring, pressurized water pipes, etc. s Always follow precautions outlined in the operating manual for your drill, saw, etc. Measurement behind surfaces containing metal (e.g. tiles with metallic content) are not or only conditionally possible since the unit detects and indicates the metal of the surface.s

Calibration Renewed calibration is always required when the CAL symbol blinks (every 60 s) in the display 4 during operation. In addition, calibration is to be performed when the device is given to another person. Observe the instructions for calibration in the Switching On section. Set the rotary switch 8 to the function. Press the On/Cal button 10 on the back of the unit. Marking Important positions can be marked as necessary. For this purpose, place the unit on the position to be marked (e.g. drilling position) and press the marking stamp 9 lightly against the surface. If the marking intensity of the stamp ring becomes weak, replace the marking stamp 9. Insert a coin or similar object into the slot of the marking stamp 9 and turn until a click is audible (see Figure A ). Tilt the coin slightly to lift the marking stamp 9 upward. Pull the marking stamp 9 completely out. Insert a new stamp (see Figure B ) and turn with the coin until it clicks. English3

Measurement FunctionsSearch Function Put the unit into operation. The green LED indicator 2 lights. Place the unit with the complete back side on the surface to be checked and move over the search area. When metal is detected, the red LED indicator 3 lights and the bar indicator in the display 4 increases in height. Continue to move over the surface until the bar indicator reaches a maximum, decreases again and the red LED indicator 3 goes out. For the exact localisation, move over the search area several times from both directions so that the red and green LED indicators light alternately. In this manner, the unit adjusts its sensitivity automatically. Only when the green LED indicator 2 lights continuously within the search area and the bar indicator shows unchanged a single bar, no metal or voltage carrying wiring was found. If the green LED indicator lights and several bars are shown, an unambiguous indication is not possible. If the unit finds metal, the green LED indicator 2 goes out and the red LED indicator 3 lights. The bar indicator in the display 4 increases in height. The increase in height is dependent on the size, depth and type of metal as well as the material of the wall. The height increases with the proximity. The position of the detected metal can be localised better when observing the maximum deflection of the bar display. Electrical wiring that does not carry voltage is detected when it is not too deep. Before drilling, determine the depth of the metal (see Allowable Drilling Depth Function). The blinking symbol and the red LED indicator 3 signal voltage carrying mains wiring. If the metal of the mains wiring is in the detection range of the unit, the height of the bar indicator increases. With the aid of the maximum height, the position of the mains wiring can be localised exactly. No drilling may be performed at this location. A depth measurement of voltage carrying wiring is not possible.

When placing on the wall or for quick movements, the symbol can appear briefly without any electrical cable being found in the measurement area. The following wiring is recognised as metal objects but not as live electrical cable conductors: Mains wiring in moist walls Mains wiring which are not live Three phase mains wiring (e.g. kitchen stove) Shielded wiring (e.g. antenna cable) The following wiring is generally not recognised: Extra-low voltage wiring (e.g. telephone, door bell) Mains wiring behind surfaces containing metal Allowable Drilling Depth Function Caution: Use this function only for reinforcing iron in concrete. When the depth of reinforcing iron in concrete is to be determined after successfully location the metal (see Search Function), move the unit to the location of maximum bar indicator height.

Set the rotary switch 8 to the function. The unit head is lifted. Hold the unit in position and do not move it. Read permitted drilling depth on the display 4. Note: The range of the drilling depth indicator on the display 4 is to 90 mm, however, detection to this depth is not possible. For each additional individual depth measurement, first set the rotary switch 8 again to the function and then move to the new location.

Maintenance and CleaningAlways keep the metal detector clean so that it functions properly and accurately. Use dry cloth for cleaning. If the unit should fail despite the care taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be carried out by an authorised customer services agent for Bosch power tools. For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always include the 10-digit order number of the unit.s

GuaranteeWe guarantee Bosch products in accordance with statutory/ country-specific regulations (proof of purchase by invoice or delivery note). Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, overload or improper handling will be excluded from the guarantee. In case of a claim, please send the unit, completely assembled, to your dealer or a Bosch Service Centre for pneumatic tools or power tools.

Environmental ProtectionRecycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste. Unit, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environment-friendly recycling. Protection de lappareils

Ne pas exposer lappareil laction directe du soleil. Ne pas lexposer lhumidit. Au cas o lappareil ne serait pas utilis pendant un certain temps, enlever la pile (sinon risque dauto-dcharge et de corrosion).

Mise en place/changement des pilesUtiliser uniquement des piles alcalines au manganse. Ouvrir le couvercle du logement des piles 6 et mettre en place les piles fournies. Lorsque le symbole apparat sur laffichage 4, des mesures errones ne peuvent pas tre exclues, cest--dire quavec une pile use, un fonctionnement impeccable de lappareil nest pas garanti. La pile est use et doit tre remplace. Ouvrir le couvercle du logement des piles 6 et changer les piles.

Mise en serviceAvant la mise en marche de lappareil, mettre le commutateur 8 sur la fonction . Si la fonction a t slectionne avant la mise en marche, lappareil se remet automatiquement hors tension aprs le calibrage. Marche : Pour chaque nouvelle dtermination de la profondeur admissible de perage, sassurer dabord que le commutateur 8 est bien positionn sur la fonction . Pendant la mise en marche puis le calibrage qui suit, tenir lappareil de manire ce quaucun objet ne se trouve moins de 0,5 mtre de lappareil dans la direction de mesure. Ce faisant, la main doit enserrer la poigne 5. Le calibrage correct et fiable de lappareil nest possible que si ces conditions sont respectes. Franais2

Appuyer sur la touche on/cal 10, qui se trouve sur la face arrire de lappareil. Lappareil se met en marche et se calibre automatiquement. Pendant le temps que dure ce processus, les diodes lectroluminescentes rouge 3 et verte 2 clignotent alternativement. Sur lafficheur, le clignotement du symbole CAL indique galement le calibrage en cours. Le symbole CAL disparat de lafficheur aprs environ 3 secondes. Lafficheur prsente alors laffichage ci-contre. La diode lectroluminescente verte 2 reste allume. Lappareil est alors prt fonctionner (en tat de marche). Arrt : Aprs environ 75 s secondes sans nouvelle calibrage, lappareil steint automatiquement.

Instructions dutilisationAvertissement: sous certaines conditions, le dtecteur est susceptible de fournir des indications errones. Ne pas se fier exclusivement aux informations fournies par le dtecteur pour assurer la scurit des travaux de perage ou de dcoupage de parois dans lesquelles des lignes lectriques sous tension ou des conduites deau sous pression, etc. peuvent tre dissimules. s Toujours prendre les prcautions dfinies dans la notice dutilisation de la perceuse, de la scie, etc. mise en oeuvre. Les mesures derrire des surfaces contenant elles-mmes des mtaux (carrelages avec inclusions mtalliques, par exemple) ne sont possibles que de manire restreinte tant donn que lappareil dtecte et affiche les lments mtalliques de la surface.s

Calibrage Il convient de procder une nouvelle calibrage chaque fois que, pendant l'exploitation, le symbole CAL clignote au rythme d'une fois par minute sur l'afficheur 4. Il convient galement de recalibrer chaque fois que l'appareil passe d'un utilisateur un autre. Tenir compte des remarques formules dans le paragraphe Marche . Mettre le commutateur rotatif 8 sur la fonction . Appuyer sur la touche on/cal 10, qui se trouve sur la face arrire de lappareil. Marquage En cas de besoin, les points importants peuvent tre marques. Pour ce faire, appliquer lappareil sur le point marquer (position de perage, par exemple) puis enfoncer lgrement le tampon de marquage 9. Changer le tampon de marquage 9 contre un neuf ds que lintensit du marquage faiblit trop.1 609 929 C79 (01.10) T

Engager la tranche dune pice de monnaie par exemple dans la fente du tampon de marquage 9 puis tourner jusqu entendre un clic parfaitement audible (cf. Figure A ). Incliner lgrement la pice de monnaie sur le ct et extraire le tampon de marquage 9 par le haut. Remettre en place un tampon de marquage 9 neuf (cf. Figure B ). Le bloquer en position au moyen de la pice de monnaie jusqu entendre le clic.

Fonctions de mesureFonction Recherche Mettre lappareil en marche. La diode lectroluminescente verte 2 reste allume. Appliquer la face arrire de lappareil bien plat sur la surface contrler et se promener sur la zone sur laquelle la dtection doit tre effectue. En cas de dtection dun mtal, la diode lectroluminescente rouge 3 sallume et laffichage segments dans lafficheur 4 sanime. Continuer de parcourir la surface considre jusqu ce que le nombre de segments affichs atteigne son maximum puis diminue nouveau et que la diode lectroluminescente rouge 3 steigne. Afin de dlimiter la zone o un mtal est prsent avec prcision, se dplacer plusieurs fois dans les deux directions au dessus de la zone considre de manire ce que les diodes lectroluminescentes rouge et verte sallument et steignent de manire alterne. Cette manoeuvre a pour effet dajuster automatiquement la sensibilit de lappareil. Aucun mtal, respectivement : aucune ligne lectrique sous tension, na t dtect dans la zone de recherche lorsque la diode lectroluminescente 2 est reste tout le temps allume et quun seul segment est tout le temps rest affich dans lafficheur. Ds que la diode lectroluminescente verte se met clignoter ou/et que plusieurs segments saffichent, aucune prvision prcise nest plus possible.

Lorsque lappareil localise la prsence dun mtal, la diode lectroluminescente verte 2 steint tandis que la diode lectroluminescente rouge 3 sallume. Laffichage segments dans lafficheur 4 sanime. Le nombre de segments affichs dpend de la taille, de la profondeur et de la nature de lobjet mtallique rencontr ainsi que du matriau constituant la paroi et de son tat (humidit, par exemple). Plus lappareil se rapproche de lobjet considr, plus le nombre de segments affichs augmente. Lobservation prcise de lendroit correspondant au signal maximum permet de dterminer la position exacte de lobjet mtallique dtect. Les lignes lectriques qui ne sont pas sous tension (absence de courant) sont localises dans la mesure o elles ne sont pas trop profondment noyes dans la paroi. Avant de procder un perage ventuel, dterminer la profondeur de perage admissible (cf. Fonction Profondeur de perage admissible ).

Le symbole clignotant et la diode lectroluminescente rouge 3 signalent la prsence dune ligne lectrique sous tension. Dans la mesure o le mtal de la ligne lectrique considre se situe dans la zone de dtection de lappareil, un certain nombre de segments dans lafficheur apparaissent. Plus lappareil est approch de la ligne lectrique considre et plus le nombre de segments qui saffichent augmente. La dtermination de la position sur laquelle le nombre de segments affichs est maximal dtermine par la mme occasion avec prcision la position effective de la ligne lectrique. Ne pas procder un perage cet endroit. Aucune mesure de profondeur nest possible lorsque la ligne lectrique dtecte est sous-tension. Lorsque lappareil est appliqu contre une paroi ou lors dun mouvement brusque, le symbole peut brivement apparatre sans pour autant que cela nindique la prsence dune ligne lectrique sous tension dans la zone de mesure. Les lignes lectriques suivantes sont bien dtectes comme des objets mtalliques mais pas comme des lignes sous tension : Lignes lectriques enterres lintrieur de murs humides Lignes lectriques hors tensions Lignes lectriques courant triphas (cuisinire lectrique, par exemple) Lignes lectriques blindes (cbles dantennes, par exemple)

Les lignes lectriques suivantes ne sont systmatiquement pas dtectes : Lignes lectriques courants faibles (ligne de tlphone, ligne de la sonnerie lectrique, par exemple) Les lignes lectriques disposes derrire des surfaces contenant des mtaux. Fonction Profondeur de perage admissible Attention : nutiliser cette fonction quavec des fers darmature noys dans du bton. Suite une dtection de mtal (cf. Fonction Recherche ), si la profondeur laquelle se trouvent les fers darmature doit tre dtermine, amener lappareil au-dessus de la position o le nombre de segments affichs est le plus important.

Mettre le commutateur rotatif 8 sur la fonction . La tte de lappareil se dcolle de la surface. Maintenir lappareil en position. Ne pas le dplacer. La profondeur admissible de perage saffiche alors dans lafficheur 4. Remarque : la plage de laffichage de profondeur de perage dans lafficheur 4 stend de 0 90 mm. La dtection natteint cependant pas cette dernire profondeur. Pour chaque nouvelle dtermination de la profondeur admissible de perage, remettre dabord le commutateur 8 sur la position de la fonction puis amener lappareil sur la nouvelle position.

GarantieLes appareils Bosch sont garantis conformment aux dispositions lgales/nationales (contre preuve dachat: facture ou bordereau de livraison). Cette garantie implique le remplacement gratuit des pices dfectueuses. Proteccin del aparatos s

Proteger el aparato de la humedad y exposicin directa al sol. Si se prev que el aparato no va a utilizarse durante un largo tiempo debe sacarse la pila (peligro de autodescarga y corrosin).

Insercin/cambio de pilasUtilizar exclusivamente pilas alcalinas-manganeso. Abrir la tapa del alojamiento de las pilas 6 e insertar la pila que se adjunta. Si en el display 4 se representa el smbolo , es muy probable que las mediciones realizadas bajo esas condiciones resulten errneas, puesto que las pilas estn muy agotadas, debiendo sustituirse. Abrir la tapa del alojamiento de las pilas 6 y cambiar la pila.

Puesta en funcionamientoAntes de conectarlo, colocar el conmutador giratorio 8 en la funcin . En caso de haber seleccionado la funcin antes de su conexin, se desconecta el aparato inmediatamente despus de haberse calibrado. Conexin: Siempre que se vaya a realizar una medicin de profundidad, cerciorarse primero de que el conmutador giratorio 8 est colocado sobre la funcin . Durante la conexin y el calibrado del aparato que sigue a continuacin, ste deber mantenerse orientado contra un punto en el que no se encuentre ningn objeto, como mnimo, a una distancia de 0,5 m. El aparato deber sujetarse adems por la empuadura 5. nicamente as se consigue un calibrado correcto.

Presionar la tecla on/cal 10 al dorso del aparato. El aparato se conecta y calibra automticamente. Al mismo tiempo parpadean alternativamente el LED rojo 3 y el LED verde 2. El smbolo CAL que parpadea en el display sealiza el proceso de calibrado. Despus de aprox. 3 s se apaga el smbolo CAL en el display. Se muestra entonces el contenido del display representado al margen. El LED verde 2 se ilumina. El aparato se encuentra ahora en disposicin de funcionamiento. Desconexin: Si transcurren aprox. 75 s sin recalibrar el aparato ste se desconecta automticamente.

Indicaciones de trabajoAtencin: Bajo circunstancias especiales, el aparato muestra valores errneos. Por ello, no se atenga exclusivamente a los valores que muestra el indicador cuando vaya a taladrar, fresar o aserrar paredes, techos o suelos en los que se encuentren conductores elctricos portadores de tensin, o tuberas bajo presin. s Considere las prescripciones de seguridad de su herramienta elctrica. No es posible medir, o solamente de forma condicionada, detrs de superficies que contengan metales (p.ej. azulejos con inclusiones metlicas), puesto que el aparato detecta e indica el metal de la superficie.s

Calibrado Un recalibrado es necesario siempre que el smbolo CAL mostrado en el display 4 pardee durante el funcionamiento (cada 60 s). El aparato deber recalibrarse adems en caso de entregarse a otra persona. Observar las indicaciones de calibrado en el apartado Conexin. Colocar el conmutador giratorio 8 sobre la funcin . Pulsar la tecla on/cal 10 al dorso del aparato. Marcado Es posible marcar los puntos explorados en caso de desearlo. Para ello deber situarse el aparato sobre el punto a marcar (p.ej. punto a taladrar) y presionar entonces levemente el sello de marcado 9. Si la intensidad de la marca fuese insuficiente, sustituir el sello de marcado 9. Insertar una moneda o algo similar en la ranura del sello de marcado 9 y girarlo hasta percibir claramente un clic (ver figura A ). Ladear levemente la moneda para alzar el sello de marcado 9. Extraer completamente el sello de marcado 9. Montar un sello nuevo (ver figura B ) y girarlo con una moneda hasta percibir un clic. Espaol3

Funciones de medidaFuncin Detectar Conectar el aparato. El LED verde 2 se enciende. Asentar completamente el dorso del aparato contra la superficie a controlar y explorar el rea. En caso de detectar un metal se enciende el LED rojo 3 y se mueve el indicador de barras del display 4. Seguir explorando la superficie hasta lograr que el indicador de barras seale el valor mximo, se reduzca nuevamente, y se apague el LED rojo 3. Para localizar el punto con mayor exactitud sobrepasarlo varias veces invirtiendo el sentido de aproximacin de manera que los LED rojo y verde cambien alternativamente. Con ello se ajusta automticamente la sensibilidad del aparato. Solamente no se detect metal ni ningn conductor elctrico portador de tensin, si dentro del rea de exploracin se enciende permanentemente el LED verde 2 y el indicador de barras contina mostrando una sola barra. Si el LED verde se enciende y se representan varias barras, no es posible hacer una dictamen con certeza. Si el aparato detecta metal se apaga el LED verde 2, y se enciende el LED rojo 3. El indicador de barras del display 4 oscila. La magnitud de oscilacin depende del tamao, profundidad, y tipo del metal, as como del material del que est hecho la pared. Al aproximarse aumenta la oscilacin. La posicin del metal detectado puede determinarse ms exactamente determinando la desviacin mxima del indicador de barras. Los conductores elctricos que no sean portadores de tensin son detectados, siempre que no estn a mucha profundidad. Antes de taladrar, determinar la profundidad del metal (ver funcin Profundidad de taladrado admisible). El smbolo intermitente y el LED rojo 3 sealizan la presencia de un cable de red portador de tensin. Si el metal del cable de red se encontrase dentro del alcance del aparato, se mueve entonces el indicador de barras. Al aproximarse aumenta la amplitud de indicacin. Determinado la amplitud mxima puede localizarse con mayor exactitud la posicin del cable de red. No es permisible taladrar en este punto. No es posible realizar una medicin de profundidad en conductores portadores de tensin. Espaol4

Al colocarlo sobre la pared o al moverlo rpidamente puede que aparezca brevemente el smbolo , a pesar de no encontrarse conductores portadores de tensin en el rea de exploracin. Los conductores siguientes son dectados como objetos metlicos perno no como conductores portadores de tensin: Cables de red en paredes hmedas Cables de red no portadores de tensin Cables con tensin trifsica (p.ej. en cocinas) Conductores apantallados (p.ej. cables de antena) Los conductores siguientes no son detectados nunca: Conductores de baja seal (p.ej. para telfonos o timbres) Cables de red situados detrs de superficies con inclusiones metlicas Funcin Profundidad de taladrado admisible Atencin: solamente emplear esta funcin en hormign armado. Si despus de haber detectado un metal (ver funcin Detectar), se desease determinar la profundidad a la que se encuentra el acero, desplazar el aparato al punto de mayor amplitud del indicador de barras.

Colocar el conmutador giratorio 8 en la funcin . El cabezal del aparato se eleva. Mantener el aparato en posicin sin desplazarlo. Efectuar la lectura de la profundidad de taladro permisible en el display 4. Observacin: aunque la escala de la profundidad de taladrado del display 4 llegue hasta 90 mm, no es posible localizar objetos hasta esa profundidad. Para realizar nuevamente una medicin de profundidad, posicionar primeramente el conmutador giratorio 8 sobre la funcin , y posicionar entonces el aparato sobre el nuevo punto.

Mantenimiento y limpiezas Mantener limpio siempre el aparato para trabajar bien y seguro. Para limpiarlo utilizar slo un pao seco. Si a pesar del cuidadoso proceso de fabricacin y control la mquina sufriera un fallo, la reparacin deber encargarse an un punto de Servicio Tcnico autorizado para herramientas elctricas Bosch. Al solicitar aclaraciones o piezas de repuesto, es imprescindible indicar siempre el nmero de pedido de 10 cifras.

GarantaPara los aparatos Bosch concedemos una garanta de acuerdo con las prescripciones legales especficas de cada pas (comprobacin a travs de la factura o albarn de entrega). Quedan excluidos de garanta los daos ocasionados por desgaste natural, sobrecarga o manejo inadecuado. Las reclamaciones nicamente pueden considerarse si la mquina se enva sin desmontar al suministrador de la misma o a un servicio tcnico Bosch de herramientas elctricas o neumticas.

Proteccin del medio ambienteRecuperacin de materias primas en lugar de eliminacin de desperdicios. El aparato, los accesorios y el embalaje debieran someterse a un proceso de recuperacin que respete el medio ambiente. Estas instrucciones se han impreso sobre papel reciclado sin la utilizacin de cloro. Para efectuar un reciclaje selectivo se han marcado las piezas de material plstico. No tirar los acumuladores/pilas agotados a la basura, al fuego, o al agua. Eliminarlos de forma ecolgica de acuerdo a las disposiciones vigentes.

Proteco do aparelhos s

Proteger o aparelho contra humidade e luz solar directa. Se o aparelho no for utilizado por muito tempo, dever retirar a pilha (Risco de auto-descarregamento e corroso).

Introduzir/substituir as pilhasUtilizar exclusivamente pilhas de mangans alcalinas. Abrir a tampa do compartimento da pilha 6 e introduzir a pilha fornecida. Quando no display 4 aparece o smbolo , no pode ser eliminada a possibilidade de erros de medio, ou seja, se a pilha estiver fraca, no pode ser assegurado que o aparelho funcione perfeitamente. A pilha est esgotada e deve ser substituida. Abrir a tampa do compartimento da pilha 6 e substituir a pilha.

Colocao em funcionamentoAntes de ligar, dever colocar o interruptor giratrio 8 na funo . Se antes tiver seleccionado a funo antes de ligar, o aparelho desligar-se- imediatamente aps a calibrao. Ligar: Para cada medio de profundidade individual, dever assegurar que o interruptor giratrio 8 seja primeiramente colocado na funo .

Segurar o aparelho ao ligar e durante a calibrao, de modo que no se encontrem quaisquer objectos no sentido de medio em no mnimo 0,5 m de distncia. A mo envolve a rea de punho 5. S assim que pode ser garantida uma calibrao livre de erros. Portugus2

Pressionar a tecla on/cal 10 que se encontra no lado de trs do aparelho. O aparelho liga-se e calibra-se automaticamente. O LED vermelho 3 e o LED verde 2 piscam alternadamente. No display pisca o smbolo CAL indicando o processo de calibrao. Aps aprox. 3 s apaga-se o smbolo CAL no display. indicada a figura de display ao lado. O LED verde 2 ilumina-se. O aparelho est pronto para funcionar. Desligar: O aparelho desliga-se automaticamente aps aprox. 75 s se no for recalibrado.

Instrues para o trabalhoAteno: Em certas circunstncias, este aparelho indica valores de medio incorrectos. No confie apenas na indicao, ao furar, serrar ou fresar em paredes, tectos ou cho sob tenso, corrente elctrica ou sob presso. s Observe as disposies de segurana da sua ferramenta elctrica. No possvel ou apenas em certas circunstncias, efectuar medies atrs de superfcies metlicas (p.ex. azulejos com ligaes metlicas), pois o aparelho localiza e indica o metal da superfcie.s

Calibrao Sempre que o smbolo CAL piscar no display 4 durante o funcionamento (a cada 60 s), ser necessrio recalibrar. Dever calibrar adicionalmente, sempre que o aparelho for passado adiante para outra pessoa. Observar as indicaes de calibrao na seco Ligar. Colocar o interruptor giratrio 8 sobre a funo . Pressionar a tecla on/cal 10 que se encontra no lado de trs do aparelho. Marcao Se for necessrio, podero ser marcadas certas posies importantes. Para isto dever colocar o aparelho sobre a posio a ser marcada (p.ex. local de perfurao) e premir levemento o carimbo de marcao 9. Se a itensidade de cor do anel de carimbo diminuir, dever substituir o carimbo de cor 9. Introduzir uma moeda ou objecto semelhante na abertura do carimbo de marcao 9 e girar at ouvir um clic (veja figura A ). Inclinar um pouco a moeda para puxar o carimbo de marcao 9 para cima. Puxar o carimbo de marcao 9 completamente para fora. Introduzir um novo carimbo (veja figura B ) e girar com uma moeda at ouvir um clic. Portugus3

Funes de medioFuno Procurar Colocar o aparelho em funcionamento. O LED verde 2 ilumina-se. Apoiar o aparelho com todo o lado posterior sobre a superfcie a ser testada e movimentar por toda a rea de procura. No caso de uma localizao de metal, o LED vermelho 3 pisca e a indicao de no display 4 aumenta. Continuar a movimentar o aparelho sobre a superfcie a ser testada, at a indicao de barras alcanar o mximo, reduzir-se novamente e o LED vermelho 3 apagar-se. Para uma localizao exacta da rea de procura, dever passar vrias vezes em ambos os sentidos pela determinada rea, de modo que o LED vermelho e o verde se iluminem alternadamente. Desta forma a sensibilidade do aparelho ajusta-se automaticamente. S se dentro da rea de procura o LED verde 2 estiver permanentemente iluminado e a indicao de barras indicar constantemente uma barra, significa que no foi encontrado qualquer metal nem qualquer cabo sob tenso. Se o LED verde estiver iluminado e forem indicadas vrias barras, significa que no pode ser feita nenhuma declarao concreta. Se o metal encontrar metal, apaga-se o LED verde 2 e o LED vermelho 3 ilumina-se. A indicao de barras no display 4 aumenta. O aumento da barra depende do tamanho, da profundidade e do tipo do metal, assim como do material da parede. Ao chegar mais perto, a barra aumenta. A posio do metal detectado pode ser localizada com maior exactido, observando-se a oscilao mxima da barra de indicao. Cabos elctricos que no esto sob tenso, so reconhecidos se no estiverem muito profundos na parede. Verificar a profundidade do metal antes de furar (veja funo Profundidade admissvel de perfurao).

O smbolo intermitente e o LED vermelho 3 sinalizam um cabo de rede sob tenso. Logo que o metal do cabo de rede estiver dentro da rea de alcance do aparelho, a indicao de barra ir indic-lo. A barra aumenta com a aproximao. O cabo de rede pode ser localizado com maior preciso com auxlio do mxima aumento da barra. Neste local no deve ser furado. No possvel efectuar uma medio de profundidade de cabos sob tenso. Ao apoiar sobre a parede ou no caso de um movimento brusco possvel que aparea por instantes o smbolo , sem que se encontre um cabo com tenso na rea de medio. As seguintes tubulaes e linhas so normalmente reconhecidas como objecto metlico, mas no como cabo sob tenso: Linhas de rede em paredes hmidas Linhas de rede sem tenso Cabos de corrente trifsica (p.ex. fogo de cozinha) Cabos blindados (p.ex. cabo de antena) As seguintes tubulaes e linhas normalmente no so reconhecidas: Linhas de baixa tenso (p.ex. tele fone, campainha) Cabos de rede atrs de superfcies metlicas

Funo Profundidade admissvel de perfurao Ateno: Apenas utilizar a funo para reforo em beto. Se aps a localizao de metal (veja funo Procurar), tambm desejar determinar o reforo em beto, dever movimentar o aparelho para o local onde a indicao de barras alcana a sua maior extenso.

Colocar o interruptor giratrio 8 na funo . A cabea do aparelho eleva-se. Segurar o aparelho em posio e no deslocar.

Per la Vostra sicurezzaE possibile lavorare con lapparecchio senza incorrere in pericoli soltanto dopo aver letto completamente le istruzioni per luso, lopuscolo avvertenze per la sicurezza e seguendo rigorosamente le istruzioni in esse contenute.

Protezione dellapparecchios

Proteggere lapparecchio dallacqua e dallazione diretta dei raggi solari. La batteria deve essere estratta dal rispettivo vano in caso che lapparecchio non dovesse essere utilizzato per lunghi periodi di tempo (pericolo di autoscarica e corrosione).

Applicazione/sostituzione delle batterieUtilizzare esclusivamente batterie alcaline al manganese. Aprire il coperchio del vano batterie 6 ed inserirvi le batterie fornite in dotazione. Se sul display 4 appare il simbolo non si possono escludere errori di misurazione, cio, in caso di batterie deboli non pi possibile garantire che lapparecchio possa funzionare correttamente. La batteria scarica e deve essere sostituita. Aprire il coperchio del vano batterie 6 e sostituire le batterie.

Messa in servizioPrima di accendere lo strumento, mettere il commutatore rotante 8 sulla funzione . Se prima di accendere lo strumento stata selezionata la funzione , lo strumento si spegne immediatamente appena eseguita la calibratura. Avviare: Per ogni ulteriore singola misurazione della profondit, assicurarsi che il commutatore rotante 8 sia stato prima messo sulla funzione .

Durante la fase di accensione e della successiva operazione di calibratura, tenere lo strumento in modo tale che almeno fino ad una distanza di 0,5 m nella direzione di misurazione non si trovi nessun tipo di oggetto. Durante tale fase la mano deve afferrare completamente limpugnatura 5. Solo in questo modo possibile assicurare una corretta calibratura.

Pigiare il tasto on/cal 10 sulla parte posteriore dello strumento. Lo strumento si accende ed esegue automaticamente loperazione di calibratura. Durante questa fase la spia LED rossa 3 e la spia LED verde 2 lampeggiano alternandosi. Sul display loperazione di calibratura viene indicata dal simbolo CAL che lampeggia a ritmo alternato. Dopo circa 3 s il simbolo CAL sul display si spegne. Si visualizza il display come da figura accanto. La spia LED verde 2 accesa. Lapparecchio dunque pronto per luso. Arrestare: Trascorsi ca. 75 s senza una nuova calibratura, lapparecchio si spegne automaticamente.

Istruzioni per il lavoroAttenzione: In determinate circostanze lapparecchio indica valori di misurazione errati. Non fidatevi esclusivamente dellindicazione dellapparecchio volendo perforare, segare oppure fresare pareti, soffitti e pavimenti in cui vi siano linee portatrici di tensione elettrica oppure tubazioni sottoposte a pressione. s Rispettare le prescrizioni di sicurezza del Vostro elettroutensile. Lo strumento non pu essere utilizzato oppure pu essere utilizzato solo parzialmente in caso di misurazioni su superfici contenenti parti metalliche (p.es. piastrelle con inclusioni metalliche) perch rileverebbe in primo luogo il metallo che si trova in superficie.s

Calibratura E necessario eseguire una nuova calibratura ogni volta che il simbolo CAL lampeggia sul display 4 durante il funzionamento (ogni 60 s). Inoltre la calibratura va eseguita di nuovo quando lapparecchio viene consegnato ad unaltra persona. Attenersi alle indicazioni relative alla calibratura nel paragrafo Avviare lapparecchio. Mettere il commutatore rotante 8 sulla funzione . Pigiare il tasto on/cal 10 sulla parte posteriore dello strumento. Marcatura In caso di necessit possibile marcare punti importanti. A tal fine, mettere lapparecchio sul punto marcato (p.es. punto di foratura) ed applicare il timbro di marcatura 9 esercitando una leggera pressione. Se lintensit del colore dellanello del timbro tende a diminuire, sostituire il timbro di marcatura 9. Inserire una moneta o simile nellintaglio del timbro di marcatura 9 e ruotare fino a percepire un clic (vedere Figura A ). Inclinare leggermente la moneta per tirare il timbro di marcatura 9 verso lalto. Estrarre completamente il timbro di marcatura 9. Funzioni di misurazioneFunzione Cerca Mettere in funzione lapparecchio. La spia LED verde 2 accesa. Applicare lapparecchio poggiando la completa parte posteriore sulla superficie da controllare e spostarlo sopra il campo di ricerca. In caso di localizzazione di metallo la spia LED rossa 3 si accende e la visualizzazione a barre nel display 4 comincia ad oscillare. Continuare a traslare sulla superficie da controllare fino a quando la visualizzazione a barre avr raggiunto il massimo, si disattiva e la spia LED rossa 3 si spegne. Per poter determinare con pi alta precisione il campo di ricerca, passarvi sopra pi volte con lapparecchio da tutte e due le direzioni in modo che la spia LED rossa e quella verde lampeggiano alternandosi. Cos facendo, la sensibilit dellapparecchio si regola automaticamente. Solo quando entro un determinato campo di ricerca la spia LED verde 2 continuamente illuminata e la visualizzazione a barre resta senza subire alcuna variazione significa che non stato trovato nessun metallo e nessuna linea portatrice di tensione. Se la spia LED verde accesa e se vengono visualizzate diverse barrette non possibile fare nessuna deduzione definitiva. Se lapparecchio trova metallo, la spia LED verde 2 si spegne e la spia LED rossa 3 si accende. La visualizzazione a barre sul display 4 comincia ad oscillare. Laltezza delloscillazione dipende dalla dimensione, dalla profondit e dal tipo del metallo cos pure dal materiale della parete. Pi ci si avvicina al materiale, tanto pi aumenta loscillazione. E possibile determinare pi precisamente la posizione del metallo localizzato basandosi sul massimo punto di oscillazione della barretta di indicazione. Condotti elettrici non portatori di tensione vengono identificati solo se non si trovano posati a profondit troppo alte. Prima di passare alleventuale operazione di foratura, rilevare la profondit a cui si trova il metallo (vedere Funzione Ammessa profondit della foratura).

Il simbolo lampeggiante e la spia LED rossa 3 segnalano un cavo di rete sotto tensione. La visualizzazione a barre inizia ad oscillare se il metallo del cavo di rete si trova nel campo di rilevazione dellapparecchio. Pi ci si avvicina al materiale, tanto pi aumenta loscillazione. Attraverso lindicazione della massima oscillazione possibile determinare con precisione la posizione del cavo di rete. In questo punto non si pu eseguire nessuna foratura. In caso di linee sottoposte a tensione non possibile eseguire nessuna misurazione della profondit. Quando lapparecchio viene applicato alla parete o mosso rapidamente, pu apparire per breve tempo il simbolo senza che nel campo di misurazione si trovi una linea elettrica sotto tensione. Le linee seguenti vengono individuate come oggetti di metallo, ma non come linee sotto tensione: Linee di rete in pareti umide Linee di rete non portatrici di tensione Linee trifase (p.es. cucina elettrica) Cavi schermati (p.es. cavo di antenna) Le linee seguenti non sono generalmente individuate: Linee di rete a tensione minore (p.es. per il telefono o campanello) Linee di rete dietro superfici contenenti parti metalliche

Funzione Ammessa profondit della foratura Attenzione: Utilizzare questa funzione solo in caso di armatura nel calcestruzzo. Se dopo aver localizzato del metallo (vedere Funzione Cerca) si vuole determinare la profondit a cui si trovano le armature nel calcestruzzo, spostare lapparecchio sul punto in cui si ha la massima visualizzazione delle barrette.

Mettere il commutatore rotante 8 . La testa dellapparecchio si alza. Mantenere lapparecchio in quella posizione e non spostarlo.

Leggere il valore riportato sul Display 4 circa la profondit di foratura possibile. Avvertenza: La visualizzazione della profondit di foratura nel display 4 arriva fino a 90 mm. Le localizzazioni, comunque, non sono possibili fino a questa profondit. Per ogni ulteriore singola misurazione della profondit, mettere il commutatore rotante 8 prima di nuovo sulla funzione e poi dirigere lapparecchio sul nuovo punto di misurazione.

Voor uw veiligheidVeilig werken met het gereedschap is alleen mogelijk indien u de gebruiksaanwijzing en de veiligheidsvoorschriften volledig leest en de daarin gegeven voorschriften strikt opvolgt.

Bescherming van het gereedschaps s

Bescherm het gereedschap tegen vocht en fel zonlicht. Wanneer het gereedschap langdurig niet wordt gebruikt, moet de batterij worden verwijderd (gevaar voor zelfontlading en corrosie).

Batterijen inzetten of vervangenGebruik uitsluitend alkali-mangaan-batterijen. Open het deksel van het batterijvak 6 en plaats de meegeleverde batterij. Wanneer in het display 4 het symbool wordt weergegeven, kunnen foutieve metingen niet worden uitgesloten omdat bij een bijna lege batterij de juiste werking van het gereedschap niet langer gewaarborgd is. De batterij is leeg en moet worden vervangen. Open het deksel van het batterijvak 6 en vervang de batterij.

IngebruiknemingZet de draaiknop 8 voor het inschakelen op de functie . Wanneer u voor het inschakelen de functie hebt gekozen, wordt het gereedschap na het kalibreren onmiddellijk weer uitgeschakeld. Inschakelen: Controleer voor elke afzonderlijke dieptemeting of de draaiknop 8 eerst op de functie is gezet.

Houd het gereedschap tijdens het inschakelen en het daaropvolgende kalibreren zo dat zich in de meetrichting binnen een afstand van 0,5 m geen voorwerpen bevinden. De hand omvat daarbij de greep 5. Alleen zo is foutloos kalibreren gewaarborgd.

Druk op de knop on/cal 10 aan de achterzijde van het gereedschap. Het gereedschap wordt ingeschakeld en automatisch gekalibreerd. Daarbij knipperen afwisselend de rode LED-indicatie 3 en de groene LED-indicatie 2. In het display geeft het knipperende symbool CAL het kalibreren aan. Na ongeveer 3 seconden verdwijnt het symbool CAL in het display. Het hiernaast afgebeelde display wordt weergegeven. De groene LED-indicatie 2 gaat branden. Het gereedschap is nu klaar om te worden gebruikt. Uitschakelen: Na ongeveer 75 seconden zonder opnieuw kalibreren wordt het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld.

Tips voor de werkzaamhedenLet op: onder bepaalde omstandigheden geeft dit gereedschap verkeerde meetwaarden aan. Vertrouw niet uitsluitend op de aanduiding wanneer u wilt boren, zagen of frezen in muren, plafonds of vloeren met onder spanning staande stroomleidingen of onder druk staande buisleidingen. s Neem de veiligheidsvoorschriften van uw elektrische gereedschap in acht. Metingen achter metaalhoudende oppervlakken (zoals tegels met metaaldeeltjes) zijn niet of slechts beperkt mogelijk, aangezien het gereedschap het metaal in het oppervlak detecteert en weergeeft.s

Kalibreren Opnieuw kalibreren is altijd nodig wanneer het symbool CAL in het display 4 tijdens het gebruik knippert (elke 60 seconden). Bovendien moet worden gekalibreerd wanneer het gereedschap aan een andere persoon wordt doorgegeven. Zie de opmerkingen over kalibreren in het gedeelte over het inschakelen van het gereedschap. Zet de draaiknop 8 op de functie . Druk op de knop on/cal 10 aan de achterzijde van het gereedschap. Markeren Belangrijke plaatsen kunnen indien gewenst worden gemarkeerd. Plaats het gereedschap daarvoor op de te markeren plaats (bijvoorbeeld plaats waar moet worden geboord) en druk de markeringsstempel 9 licht aan. Wanneer de kleurintensiteit van de stempelring minder wordt, moet de markeringsstempel 9 worden vervangen. Steek een munt of iets dergelijks in de sleuf van de markeringsstempel 9 en draai deze tot een klik hoorbaar wordt (zie afbeelding A ). Houd de munt iets schuin om de markeringsstempel 9 naar boven te trekken. Trek de markeringsstempel 9 volledig naar buiten. Breng een nieuwe stempel aan (zie afbeelding B ) en draai deze met een munt tot een klik hoorbaar wordt.

MeetfunctiesFunctie Zoeken Stel het gereedschap in werking. De groene LEDindicatie 2 gaat branden. Plaats het gereedschap met de volledige achterzijde op het te controleren oppervlak en beweeg het over het gedeelte waar moet worden gezocht. Wanneer metaal wordt gedetecteerd, brandt de rode LED-indicatie 3 en slaat de balkindicatie in display 4 uit. Beweeg het gereedschap verder over het te controleren oppervlak tot de balkindicatie het maximum bereikt en vervolgens weer daalt en de rode LED-indicatie 3 uit gaat. Beweeg voor een nauwkeurige bepaling meermaals over het te controleren gedeelte, zodat de rode en de groene LED-indicatie elkaar afwisselen. Daarbij wordt de gevoeligheid van het gereedschap automatisch ingesteld. Alleen wanneer binnen het te controleren gedeelte de groene LED-indicatie 2 voortdurend brandt en de balkindicatie onveranderd een balk weergeeft, is geen metaal en geen spanningvoerende leiding gevonden. Wanneer de groene LED-indicatie brandt en een aantal balken worden weergegeven, is geen duidelijke bevinding mogelijk. Wanneer het gereedschap metaal vindt, dooft de groene LED-indicatie 2 en gaat de rode LEDindicatie 3 branden. De balkindicatie in het display 4 slaat uit. De mate van de uitslag hangt af van de afmetingen, diepte en aard van het metaal en bovendien van het materiaal van de muur. De uitslag wordt groter wanneer het gereedschap dichter bij het metaal komt. U kunt de plaats van het gedetecteerde metaal nauwkeuriger bepalen door te letten op de maximale uitslag van de balkindicatie. Elektrische leidingen die geen spanning voeren, worden gedetecteerd wanneer deze niet te diep liggen. Bepaal de metaaldiepte voordat u eventueel boort (zie de functie Toegestane boordiepte).

Het knipperende symbool en de rode LED-indicatie 3 signaleren een spanningvoerende stroomleiding. Wanneer het metaal van de stroomleiding in het meetbereik van het gereedschap ligt, slaat de balkindicatie uit. De uitslag wordt groter wanneer het gereedschap dichter bij het metaal komt. Met behulp van de maximale uitslag kan de plaats van de stroomleiding nauwkeuriger worden ingeperkt. Op deze plaats mag niet geboord worden. Een dieptemeting bij spanningvoerende leidingen is niet mogelijk. Wanneer het gereedschap op de muur wordt geplaatst of bij een snelle beweging kan het symbool kort worden weergegeven zonder dat zich een spanningvoerende leiding in het meetbereik bevindt. De volgende leidingen worden herkend als metaalobject, maar niet als spanningvoerende leiding: Stroomleidingen in vochtige muren Stroomleidingen die geen spanning voeren Driefase-draaistroomleidingen (bijvoorbeeld keukenfornuis) Afgeschermde leidingen (bijvoorbeeld antennekabel) De volgende leidingen worden niet herkend: Zwakstroomleidingen (bijvoorbeeld voor telefoon of bel) Stroomleidingen achter metaalhoudende oppervlakken

Functie Toegestane boordiepte Let op: Gebruik deze functie alleen bij wapening in beton. Wanneer na het detecteren van het metaal (zie de functie Zoeken) de diepte van wapeningen in beton moet worden bepaald, dient het gereedschap naar de plaats van de maximale balkindicatie te worden bewogen.

Zet de draaiknop 8 op de functie . Houd het gereedschap in dezelfde stand en verschuif het niet.

Lees de toegestane boordiepte in het display 4 af. Opmerking: De boordiepte-indicatie in het display 4 reikt tot 90 mm. Detectie is echter niet tot deze diepte mogelijk. Stel voor elke volgende dieptemeting de draaiknop 8 eerst weer in op de functie en verplaats het gereedschap vervolgens naar de nieuwe plaats.

Onderhoud en reinigingHoud het gereedschap altijd schoon om goed en veilig te werken. Gebruik voor het schoonmaken alleen een droge doek. Mocht het gereedschap ondanks zeer zorgvuldige fabricage- en testmethoden toch defect raken, dient de reparatie door een erkende servicewerkplaats voor Bosch elektrisch gereedschap uitgevoerd te worden. Vermeld bij al uw vragen en bij bestellingen van vervangingsonderdelen het bestelnummer van 10 cijfers van het gereedschap.s

GarantieVoor Bosch-gereedschap geven wij garantie volgens de wettelijk geldende bepalingen (rekening of pakbon geldt als bewijs). Schade die terug te voeren is op natuurlijke slijtage, overbelasting of onoordeelkundig gebruik is van garantie uitgesloten. Schade die door materiaal- of fabricagefouten ontstaan is, wordt gratis door levering van onderdelen of reparatie verholpen. Reparaties kunnen alleen voor garantie in aanmerking komen wanneer het desbetreffende gereedschap in volledig gemonteerde staat wordt afgegeven of gezonden aan een erkende Bosch servicewerkplaats of de importeur. Gelijktijdig dient vermeld te worden dat aanspraak op garantie wordt gemaakt. Het volledig ingevulde garantiebewijs moet worden overlegd.

Milieubescherming

Terugwinnen van grondstoffen in plaats van het weggooien van afval Gereedschap, toebehoren en verpakking dienen op een voor het milieu verantwoorde manier te worden hergebruikt. Deze gebruiksaanwijzing is vervaardigd van chloorvrij gebleekt kringlooppapier. De kunststof delen zijn gekenmerkt om ze per soort te kunnen recyclen. Werp lege accus en batterijen niet bij het huisvuil, in het vuur of in het water, maar voer ze af volgens de geldende voorschriften. Breng ze bijvoorbeeld naar een inzamelplaats.

Finder apparatet metal, slukker den grnne LED-lampe 2 og den rde LED-lampe 3 lyser. Bjlkeindikatoren slr ud i displayet 4. Udslagets hjde afhnger af metallets strrelse, dybde og art samt af vggens materiale. Udslaget bliver strre, jo nrmere man kommer sgeomrdet. Placeringen af det pejlede metal kan indgrnses nrmere ved at iagttage bjlkens maksimale udslag. Elektriske ledninger, der ikke er spndingsfrende, identificeres, hvis de ikke ligger alt for dybt. Beregn metaldybden fr borearbejdet startes (se funktion tilladt boredybde). Det blinkende symbol og den rde LED-lampe 3 signaliserer en spndingsfrende netledning. Hvis netledningens metal ligger inden for apparatets mleomrde, slr bjlkeindikatoren ud. Udslaget bliver strre, jo nrmere man kommer sgeomrdet. Netledningens position kan indgrnses njere ved hjlp af det max. udslag. P dette sted m der ikke bores. Det er ikke muligt at gennemfre en dybdemling ved spndingsfrende ledninger.
