Boston College extended its nation-best winning streak to nine games with a sweep of Notre Dame by a combined score of 10-1. David Cotton (Parker, Texas) had a team-high five points on two goals and three assists, including his 50th career goal on Saturday to pace the Eagles’ offense. Rookie goaltender Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.) stopped 53 of 54 shots he faced to earn Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week just days after earning Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month and National Rookie of the Month honors.

Boston University topped #12 Harvard and #8 Northeastern to enter the holiday break with momentum. HOCKEY EAST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEKTREVOR ZEGRAS BOSTON UNIVERSITYTrevor Zegras (Bedford, N.Y.) opened the scor-ing in a 5-2 victory over #12 Harvard on Tuesday before adding a trio of as-sists in Saturday’s 6-3 win against #8 Northeastern. He also posted a plus-four rating over the two wins. He led all league freshmen with three assists, four points, plus-four, and 10 shots on goal.

SPENCER KNIGHT BOSTON COLLEGESpencer Knight (Darien, Conn.) went 2-0-0 against No. 9 Notre Dame, allowing just one goal all weekend and stopping 53 of the 54 shots he faced for a .981 save percentage. He posted a 26-save shutout on Friday in Chestnut Hill, then made 27 saves on Sunday in a 6-1 victory in South Bend. Knight pushed his personal win-ning streak to nine with the pair of victories, dating back to Nov. 2 with a .964 save percentage and 1.00 goals against average and three shutouts in that span.

MATT MURRAY MASSACHUSETTSMatt Murray (St. Albert, Alta.) went 2-0-0 on the weekend, stopping 43 of 45 shots for a .956 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average. Both goals allowed were power-play goals, includ-ing one coming on a 5-on-3. He improved to 7-1-0 on the year, lowing his GAA to 1.39 and raising his save percentage to .932 and ranks in the top-10 in the nation in all three catego-ries.

David Cotton, BC (Sr., F; Parker, Texas) Led the Eagles to a pair of dominant wins over No. 9 Notre Dame with a team-high five points on two goals and three assists. He posted a goal and an assist on Friday in a 4-0 shutout at Kelley Rink, then had a three-point night including his 50th career goal on Sunday in South Bend. Cotton became the 54th member of BC’s 50-goal club.

Patrick Harper, BU (Sr., F; New Canaan, Conn.) Tallied five points and a plus-five rating in a two-win week for the Terriers, scoring three times and adding a pair of assists. After a three-point night (1g, 2a) in a 5-2 triumph over #12 Harvard, Harper added a pair of goals on Saturday to lift BU past #8 Northeastern, 6-3.

Cam Crotty, BU (Jr., D; Greely, Ont.) Recorded a goal and an assist in a 5-2 victory over #12 Harvard on Tuesday and finished the two-win week with a plus-four rating after not being on the ice for any opponent goals.

Jonny Evans, UConn (So., F; North Delta, B.C.) Helped the Huskies to a league sweep over Vermont with a hat-trick on Saturday to fuel a 7-4 win. Evans, who missed six games with an injury, returned this weekend and registered the first UConn hat-trick since Oct. 14, 2017. Evans had the game-winner, scoring in the second and twice in the third to send the Huskies into the break on a four-game winning streak.

Carter Berger, UConn (Fr., D; North Vancouver, B.C.) Had a goal and an assist as the Huskies earned a sweep of UVM. Berger scored his first collegiate goal, a power-play tally, in Saturday’s 7-4 win over the Catamounts. He also extended his point streak to four-straight games (1g, 3a).

John Leonard, UMass (Jr., F; Amherst, Mass.) Netted a goal in both games of a sweep of Maine while also dishing out an assist on Friday to earn his fourth multi-point game of the year. Saturday’s tally proved to be the game-winner and his 10th goal of the year.

Logan Drevitch, MC (So., F; Middleborough, Mass.) Scored two goals and added two assists in a 4-2 win over New Hampshire on Saturday night.

Connor Sodergren, UML (Jr., F; Tewksbury, Mass.) Notched two goals in the weekend split with Providence with five shots on goal and a plus-two rating.

Andre Lee, UML (Fr., F; Karlstad, Sweden) Collected three assists on the weekend for the River Hawks, including two in a 3-2 road win Friday.

Tyler Wall, UML (Sr., G; Leamington, Ont.) Stopped 66 of 71 shots (.930 SV%) in the weekend split with Providence. He posted 35 saves in the 3-2 road win Friday and then followed that up with 31 saves in the home loss Saturday.

Chase Stevenson, UNH (Fr., F; West Kelowna, B.C.) Posted two goals and one assist as UNH went 1-1-0 against Merrimack. On Sunday he netted the goal that gave the Wildcats a 2-0 lead and posted an assist on the last goal of the contest in the 5-2 win. He has three goals and three assists for six points this season.
