Arenco–ROM Box Filling Machine DESCRIPTIONOFFEATURES
Box band The machine has an indexed 2x12 box feed during 240°. This is the reason for its high capacity.
Box infeed The two rows of empty outer and inner boxes are fed into the ROM separately. The boxes are positively fed directly into the box band during running with a patented “direct infeed” mechanism. It keeps the box band always filled with boxes.
Box filling ROM has the well-known Arenco system with one punch-ing out station on each side of the machine. The system works with two stick portions for each box.
Vibration Levelling of the matches in the boxes is achieved by a unit vibrating the matches length-wise. A magnetic vibration unit is used after the filling to get a final perfect levelling of the matches before closing.
Arenco-ROM is the high capacity box filling machine with a reliable direct infeed of cardboard boxes in the box band. The ROM box filling machine is designed for direct connection to a continuous match making machine.
Box closing Box closing is carried out in two stages. The inner box is in-serted into the outer part until about one third remains. In the second stage the box is closed completely. A brushing device is situated between the
second box closing to push in any protruding matches before final closing.
Outfeed After closing, the boxes are transferred from the filling ma-chine in two rows for further transport to the inspection conveyor or inspection table.
