The Boyce College Dual
Enrollment Program
provides the unique
opportunity for students to
earn college credit while in
high school. Participating in
dual enrollment saves time
and money in the pursuit
of a bachelor’s degree.
Why dual enrollment? The dual enrollment program allows students to:
• Enroll in college courses while in high school.• Receive college credits while taking high school courses.• Minimize the duplication of courses taken in high school and college.• Shorten the time required to complete an undergraduate degree.• Reduce significantly the cost of higher education.• Receive a quality college experience.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, students who participate in similar programs reduce their average time-to-degree and increase the likelihood of graduation. There is also evidence that dual enrollment increases academic performance and educational attainment.
