Technical Requirements

Hardware requirements:

FAST CPU - Intel Core Duo T2400 or better

3-4 GB RAM (2 GB min)

Internal HDD with at least 40GB, 5400rpm

External HDD with at least 200GB, 7200rpm

Software requirements:

Installation Master DVDs SR3 for the selected SAP solution

Valid installation platform (OS / DB combination)

System exports are performed for Little Endian platforms

Alpha, Intel x86 (and clones) processors (see SAP note 552464)

Valid SAP license for the selected SAP solution, e.g. SAP ERP or SAP CRM. If you do not have a valid

demo license please get in touch with your local SAP contact person

How to order

The demo image* is offered to partners

SAP note 1040010 provides the details regarding the order process and details

Create customer message to request SAP BP Demo Image

Software Factory monitors the CSS component and orders the requested demo

image via ISP

Prerequisites will be checked (demo license, MS SQL license)

Incomplete messages or missing prerequisites will be sent back

Package consists of 4 DVDs or one Blu-Ray disc

Contains the SAP part of the demo image (systems, database)

Documentation and tool to apply on hardware

* Reduced demo image without operating system

5. HDD Demo (SAP Internal Only)

SAP Best Practices for Chemicals Laptop Demo

The SAP Best Practices team provides a disk image with a complete Best Practices for

Chemicals demo system.

Due to software licensing limitations, this demo system is only available to SAP

employees.

Requirements:

• External USB 2.0/3.0 or Firewire HDD, min. 200 GB

• Laptop with a minimum internal RAM of 2GB

• VMware Virtual Server

• Transfer from one HDD to your HDD will take about 80min
