Acknowledgement

It has been a wonderful year of our collaboration with SPIE which has helped us to enrich our knowledge in photonics, optics, bio-medical engineering, digital image processing and several other fields of physics and electronics. Within this one year we have organized several seminars and talks by eminent professors and lecturers from renowned universities of various countries and they have enlightened us on different topics. Apart from this some educational tours were organized by our chapter for our chapter members. Hope we keep enjoying our association with the chapter and keep learning more and increase our knowledge.

Future Plans

With the support and guidance

of our Director

Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti and

our Faculty Advisor

Prof. Indrani Bhattacharya we

have decided to set up an

ASTRONOMICAL

OBSERVATORY in our

Engineering Campus. The

observatory will contain a

Telescope and an Information

Processing and Analysis Unit.

Applied For Dst,govt. Of India

And Spie Funding :

(A) To Study, Develop

,Characterize An Energy Efficient

Opto-electronic Power Supply

Using Flexible Solar Panels,

Rectenna And Super-capacitors

(B) Implementation Of Polar

Walsh Filters.

We Have Planned To Conduct

Mass Outreach Programs In Order

To Spread Optics Education Among

The Masses .
