• People talk about your product, effectively advertising that you and or your product exists.
• Eg. PC vs Mac, Xbox vs Playstation with a little bit of Wii/Nintendo
Building Trust/Reliability with the user• People will gravitate towards brands/names that they
know.• If someone has a choice between Coke and some cola
brand they’ve never heard of, then they will likely go for the Coke over the unknown brand.• This particularly happens when prices are fairly
similar.
