Brandon Calley and Cityteam International

Cityteam International, originally the San Jose Rescue Mission, was founded in 1957 as a location where homeless men could receive a free, hot meal. Soon, the Mission extended this humanitarian work to families, and then began to provide shelter as well. The San Jose Rescue Mission eventually changed its name to Cityteam International, and while it was initially based in the San Francisco Bay Area locations of San Jose and Oakland, Cityteam International has expanded to include offices in Portland, Oregon, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as international locations.

The organization has also significantly expanded its non-profit programs: instituting women shelters, offering addiction rehabilitation services, establishing academic education centers, and providing training seminars to instill self-sufficiency in individuals and communities around the world. Cityteam International estimates that it is currently serving the needs of over 500,000 people in the United States and hundreds of thousands more throughout the world.

Sales executive Brandon Calley has donated time and effort to a number of charitable organizations, including Cityteam International.
