This is why we are one step ahead when it comes to deciding what

our little ones wear. At Brands4kids – as the name says – we have put

together a series of exciting brands for children aged 0-12 years with

quality-conscious parents.

We cover everything from must-have basics to strong and functional

clothes in beautiful, colorful and exciting designs. Whatever interests

consumers will sell well in the shop. This is what we have been doing

since 1946 and we are very proud of it: it takes two to make a trade.

The company is founded under the name Martin Kragh-Schwarz, a wholesale company focusing on baby and children’s clothes. Products are made by home knitters.

1946Exports to Norway begin, and Pippi is registered as a trademark.

1958The company is one of the pioneers in manufacturing abroad.

1970sThe first designer is hired to design and develop baby and children’s clothes.

Change of ownership. Erik Andreæ and Michael Nederby buy the company from the Kragh-Schwarz family.

2006The company changes name to Brands4kids. Brands such as CeLaVi, Fairytale, Karl-a, Tinyzone and Mala are taken over.

2009The range of brands is put together into four main brands: Pippi, CeLaVi, Mala and Minymo.

2012The purchase of ME TOO signals the beginning of a new adventure, and Brands4kids ranks among the largest Scandi-navian producers in the areas of basic, outdoor and fashion.

2015

SINCE 1946It all began in 1946, when Martin Kragh-Schwarz saw a growing need for children’s

clothing. The local housewives started knitting, and the warm woollen clothes were soon

selling like hotcakes at shops all over the country. Demand was great and the kids were getting

older. The company was growing too, and so did the range and the number of children’s

clothing brands. What happened next is not just history... it is the beginning of a new

adventure: in 2006, Erik Andreæ and Michael Nederby bought the company and they have

since developed it into the Brands4kids we know today.

Brands4kids has been in Erik Andreæ and Michael Nederby’s ownership

since 2006. Both are experienced professionals and managers with a clear

stand on quality, price, service and delivery. Both have a solid foundation

as parents and a valuable insight into family life. Knowledge and skills that

are a hallmark of all the members of the Unique Team behind Brands4kids’

products. Therefore, we know what we — and what you — are talking about.

BEHIND THE DESIGN The creative stage involves an endless play with fabrics, colors and prints by adding fun and functional details to the designs. Brands4Kids has its own design, development

and quality department. Here ideas are born,

developed and matured. We play with fabrics,

colors and prints that are matched across our

entire collection. To be able to reach a wide target

group, we work hard to accommodate the desires

of several different countries in the design stage.

WE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! Brands4kids takes the utmost care to reduce its environmental impact. This is a continuous process where we audit and reassess our suppliers all the time. Even if this takes up a lot of time and resources, we are convinced that it is worth the effort and that this is the right thing to do for both our children’s health and the world we live in. We focus 100% on ensuring that our products do not contain any hazardous chemicals. We never use any nickel or colorants containing heavy metals in our production. A large part of our products are Oeko-Tex 100 certified every year. The Oeko-Tex mark is the consumer’s guarantee that the product does not contain any hazardous substances. The Oeko-Tex tests are conducted at independent institutions, and the requirements are continuously updated to match the most recent research of medical science.

In other words, we are always one step ahead when it comes to children’s wear.

WITH THE UTMOST CARE Having a constant focus on pro-duct properties and ensuring that the raw materials we use in our products live up to the European chemical regulations – REACH – comes as a matter of course to us. We conduct regular spot checks of our products to ensure the quality and make it possible for the parents to feel safe buying our products. Quality control for us is more than just carefully checking the seams, and we take full responsibility for everything that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Quality is documented in coope-ration with an internationally recognized testing institute – Bureau Veritas. Last but not least, we get our young users to test out our clothes to make sure that we actually deliver what we promise.

Pippi combines soft, natural fabrics, simple prints, and tested fits. The

baby-in-arms gets clothes that are easy to take on and off, while the

growing baby’s changing patterns of movement are also catered for.

Pippi’s extensive basic range contains a wide range of products in both

neutral and fun colors when it comes to the popular body stockings,

nightwear, bibs, and diapers.

Pippi products are Oeko-Tex 100-certified in the highest class for baby

textile that is in direct contact with the skin, and a large part of the products

CeLaVi is created with focus on well-being. It should be great fun to be

a ”real mischief-maker”, who lives, plays, and explores in all kinds of

weather. The clothes are strong, smart, and in bright colors. Beautiful

motifs repeat on both rainwear and rubber boots and can be combined in

countless variations.

Weather does not matter when the hydrostatic pressure and breathability

of the outerwear is as high as here. The rubber boots fit so well that the

kids will be playing in puddles for hours.
