Your Brazil visa application must be created online, printed and signed. Begin your application at http://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br.

The page will initially be in Portugese; click the British flag or select “English” on the dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen to bring up the English version of the application website. Select “Visa” to begin your visa application. On the following page, scroll to the bottom and click the “Start New Application” button.

In the “Initial Information” section, select your Purpose of Entry from the drop-down menu. Tourists may select “Tourism.” Business and flight crew applicants should

Part 1 - General Data

Fill in your biographical data. Type in your name as printed in your passport, listing both first and middle names in the “First Name” box. If your last name has a suffix, include that in the “Last Name” box.

Make sure to select your country of citizenship from the “Main Nationality” dropdown menu. If you hold dual citizenship, select the country according to the passport you will use for your visa.

Fill in your parents’ names, citizenship, and birthdates. You may use either the married or maiden name for your mother. The “Data on Legal Representative” section may be left blank; this is only for minors who have a legal guardian other than the parents.

Part 2 - Visa Data

Fill in your purpose of journey and the earliest date you may enter Brazil. You may enter the duration of your visit by either listing your departure date or stating the number of days or months you plan to stay in Brazil.

In the “Form of Exhibition of Travel Document” section, select “By Third Parties” and list “G3 Visas” as the name of the third party.A

ide Part 3 - Documents

This part of the application is for your passport information. In the “Other Document” section, fill in your name as listed in your passport and provide your passport number and expiration date.

In the “Travel Document” section, you will provide your passport details again. Make sure to select “Passport” for “Type of Travel Document.”

Part 4 - Professional Data

Fill in the details of your occupation and employer. Students should fill in the name and address of their school. Applicants who are homemakers, retired, or unemployed may fill in their home address here.

Part 5 - Contacts

Fill in your personal contact information in this section.

You will also be required to fill in the details for a contact in Brazil. Tourists may list the name and contact information of a hotel, tour operator, or private host in Brazil. Business travelers should list a contact person at the company they will visit. Flight Crew can list a business contact, handler, or FBO in Brazil.

Part 6 - Biometric Data and Scanned Documents

In this section, you will need to upload your photo and a sample of your signature.

Your photo must be a passport-style photo with a plain white background. You will need to have both a digital copy to upload and a printed copy to attach to your finished application. The digital photo must be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format, with a file size of less than 300KB. It must be at least 431 pixels wide and 531 pixels high, and may be either square or rectangular.

Your signature sample must also be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format. You can sign a blank piece of paper and either scan it or take a photo with a digital camera or smartphone. Make sure to sign your full name, as listed in your passport. You will need to sign your printed application in the same format.

To upload your photo and signature, select what type of item you are uploading, and then click the “Choose File” button to find the item on your computer.

After uploading your photo, you will be able to crop your photo to the approved dimensions. You can move the white box around so that your face is within the outline of the head. Click the “Crop” button to return to the upload screen to upload your signature.

You will also have to crop your signature, using the same type of white box. Use your mouse to adjust the size and location of the box until your signature is completely enclosed by the box, then click “Crop.”

Please note that you do not need to upload any other documents. Scroll to the bottom of the upload page and click the checkbox, then select “Complete Application.

On the next page, make note of your application recovery number. You will need this number to reprint or edit your application. Fill in the security code and then click the “Continue” button.

On the following page, click the “Print Delivery Receipt” button, and your finalized application will open in a new tab. You may save this PDF document to your computer as well as printing it out. You will need to print one copy and sign it with a pen-to-paper signature before sending your application package to G3.
