Romanian Breakfast• There is no traditional

breakfast, because nowadays modern people living in cities don’t give great importance to breakfast.

• Although, many do eat for breakfast foods like bread, dairy products; such as milk, cheese, cream, butter; vegetables, and eggs, especially omelettes with meat; especially pork.

• Though there is one traditional dish that is eaten by many Romanians, it is called Mămăligă which is like a cornmeal mush and this food is mainly eaten with cold milk.

• This dish used to be called “the meal of the poor people”, though now it is more appreciated.
