OUR JOURNEY:

In 2008, Amici Spa decided to take initiative, and created an event that would join sponsors, family,

friends and the community for one sole purpose- to make breast cancer a thing of the past. In 2009,

Amici Spa began their journey in collaboration with their community hospital to win the fight against

breast cancer. When we started hearing about loyal clients, family and friends battling the illness, we

decided that it was time to lend a helping hand.

OUR MISSION:

Year after year, our continued goal is to raise the bar and increase the number of donations to help end

this devastating disease. To date, Amici Spa has helped raise over $60,000 for the Markham Stouffville

Hospital’s Breast Health Centre and Chemotherapy Clinic. By becoming a sponsor, not only do you help

the community, but you also help the ripple effect that people encounter when someone is affected by

breast cancer. With your help, the money raised from our event will benefit Markham Stouffville

Hospital’s Breast Health Center and Chemotherapy Clinic. The result of your donation will improve the

amount of time that breast cancer patients have to wait to receive treatment; therefore they have

shorter appointment wait times, earlier diagnosis’ and earlier treatment plans with current technology.

OUR CHARITABLE PARTNER:

On behalf of The Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, we would like to acknowledge the commitment

made by Amici Spa for hosting The Amici Breast Cancer Fundraising Gala. This year's gala, "A Touch of Pink",

will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Terrace Banquet Centre in Vaughan. Guests can expect

a fun evening full of entertainment, dining, and dancing, while supporting a great cause.

We ask that you please consider supporting the event through a sponsorship or a donation of an in-kind

item for the silent auction. Proceeds from the gala will be supporting the newly expanded Breast Health

Centre and Chemotherapy Clinic at Markham Stouffville Hospital. With more than double the space of the

original facility, we must continue to raise funds to purchase much needed equipment that the government

cannot fund.
