The Cooden Beach Hotel is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies in licensed rooms or outsidein the Cedar Wood Pagoda overlooking the sea.
If you wish to just hold your civil wedding ceremony here, the charge is £650.
For a civil wedding ceremony followed by a wedding reception, the charge is £450.
The room hire charge includes use of one of our inside glass-fronted ceremony rooms withviews of the sea, the outside Cedar Wood Pagoda, a pedestal of fresh fl owers
and a cream aisle runner for your entrance.
Please ensure that the licensed room is available at The Cooden Beach Hotelon your chosen date before contacting the registrar.
You will need to contact the Hastings Registry O� ce (contact details below)to book a registrar to conduct the marriage.

You may increase the number in your party to our recommended maximum as discussedwith your wedding co-ordinator.
Additional Guests must be accounted for and paid for in full 2 weeks prior to your reception.
Once full payment has been made, you will not be refunded for a decrease inguest numbers or for guests who fail to attend.
In the unlikely event that The Cooden Beach Hotel has to cancel your booking,all advance payments will be returned to you. The Cooden Beach Hotel will not have any other liability.
Please note live bands are prohibited. DJ systems are required to run through the hotel noise limiter.
For outside ceremonies, only The Cooden Beach Hotel will make the final decision, onthe morning of your wedding, regarding whether your ceremony will be conducted inside or outside.
Wedding couples can provisionally block book up to 10 bedrooms. However, any rooms not individually named (and secured with a credit card) three months prior to the wedding date will be released. Additional rooms may be
reserved directly by wedding guests and confi rmed with their own cards.The discounted wedding rate is available to all wedding guests.
The Cooden Beach Hotel accepts no liability for decorations, personal e� ects or equipmentbrought into the hotel and we require you to comply with the rules set out in the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Financial arrangements made with third party contractors by yourselves must be settled directlyby you and not the hotel.
