Step1: Selecting “Assign Proxy”

Search for other voters below to assign a proxy. If you wish to search the existing nominator list to find the names of persons to whom you would like to assign proxies, please type a portion of the name in the First Name field and select ‘Search to Assign Proxies’. For Example: If you are searching for John Doe, type ‘John D’ in the name field and search. Existing nominators may only be found by searching in the Name field. If you wish to create a new proxy for a person not on the nominators’ list, select 'Add New Proxy. Please provide the proxy’s email address and provide the First Name and Last Name and enter the number of votes from your total that you wish to assign and the horse(s) to which they pertain. You may assign all of your votes or a portion of your votes. IMPORTANT: If you wish to assign a proxy, the Proxy must be assigned before your votes are cast. Once your votes are cast, you (the nominator) may not assign a proxy. Note: Voters who have already voted will not be eligible for acting as a proxy.

Step 2A-1: Using the Search Functionality Enter a search term into one of the fields and click on “Search to Assign Proxies”

Step2A-2: After choosing an existing User with “Select as Proxy”

Step2B-1: Add a new proxy The “Add a new proxy” option allows the voter to split some of their vote weight and send this to another individual. This essentially creates a new voter account for the proxy assignee.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address that you provide identifying you as the person who assigned the proxy, the number of votes assigned and the horse to which they pertain and providing the proxy’s login information and vote total.
