September 2006- July 2013 Assistant Bar Manager: Toddys Bar, The Gresham Hotel. My daily duties as the assistant manager consisted of the opening and closing of the bar, cashing the tills, handling complaints and looking after the welfare of both customers and staff. I also had the responsibility of managing the weekly rosters and wages using the time point computer system. I used my own initiative and represented the company to the best of my ability, to ensure that both costumers and staff enjoy their time in the hotel.At the end of every month I conducted a stock take to ensure the bar is kept within the budgetary requirements. I was also responsible for the security and wellbeing of the staff and costumers.I also compiled a cocktail menu that the bar still uses to this day and invented a number of cocktails

I also handled any deliveries of stock that arrived and made sure the stock was controlled in a first in first out basis. I enjoyed my time here as it was a family run business and it helped me decide on my future career path.
