PRK Preschool Fun Time Wednesdays/ Nov. 6, 2019 - April 15, 2020/ 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. NO CHARGE. Get the wiggles out at Preschool Fun Time! This open gym is a great time to make new friends, release

energy, and run inside. We provide the equipment and space, you provide the fun!

(Chairs are available for parents who run out of gas before the kids!)

PRK Preschool Basketball Mondays/ Jan. 6 - Feb. 3, 2020/ 4:15 - 5:00 p.m. RES: $25.00 NONRES: $30.00 Ages 4 and 5, (not yet in kindergarten) Preschool players will learn primary basketball

skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while participating in a variety of lively basketball focused games.

PRK Silly Saturday Saturday, January 18, 2020/ 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. RES: $2.00 NONRES: $3.00 Join us for some preschool fun! We’ll have relay races, an obstacle course, parachute

games, and more! Parents are welcome to participate with their child, or cheer from the sidelines!

This program is for our friends ages 3, 4, and 5 and not yet in kindergarten. Preregistration is required.

K, 1 K - 1 Basketball Wednesdays/ Dec. 4, 2019 - Jan. 29, 2020/ 4:15 - 5:00 p.m. RES: $30.00 NONRES: $35.00 Players in kindergarten and first grade will focus on the skills that are the foundation of

basketball; dribbling, passing, defense, and shooting. These skills will be learned by playing a variety of fun games.

Registrations will be accepted starting November 4, 2019.

2, 3 2, 3 Basketball Wednesdays, Thursdays/ Dec. 4, 2019 - Jan. 30, 2020/ 5:00-6:00 p.m. RES: $30.00 NONRES: $35.00 Our players in grades 2 and 3 will continue to focus on the basic skills of dribbling,

passing, defense, and shooting. In addition, strategies of game play will be introduced through hands on drills, skills, and

playing games. Registrations will be accepted starting November 4, 2019.

2 - 8 Winter Cheering Registrations accepted Nov. 4 - 15, 2019/ First Meeting Nov. 18, 2019 RES: $45.00 NON RES: $50.00 Join Coach Bre Geiser as she leads our youngest cheer enthusiasts as they develop

the fundamental cheering skills that will include jumps, formations, sideline routines, and cheers to motivate any team!

Practices will be held on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs Conference Room. Squads will cheer

games on either Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. A schedule will be provided. Cheerleaders should have black

leggings and comfortable sneakers. T-shirts will be provided.

4, 5 4, 5 Basketball Registrations accepted Nov. 4 - 15, 2019/ Placements/Practice Nov. 19, 2019 RES: $45.00 NONRES: $55.00 Grades 4 and 5 players will have a practice Monday, November 18, 2019 from

5:15 - 6:15 p.m. Afterwards players will be divided into teams, with future practices on Mondays, and games on either

Friday evening or Saturday morning. A schedule will be provided by the coach.

Volunteer coaches and officials are welcome!

3,4,5 Early Spring Dodgeball League Thursdays/ Feb. 27 - March 26, 2020/ 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. RES: $40.00 NONRES: $45.00 Everyone's favorite gym game is dodgeball! Don’t miss out on this exciting league.

Players will be assigned to teams. A schedule will be available at the February 27th meeting.

5,6,7 Winter Dodgeball League Thursdays/ Nov. 7 - Dec. 19, 2019/ 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. RES: $40.00 NONRES: $45.00 After a long day at school, enjoy an action packed evening of dodgeball! Players will

be assigned to teams and a schedule will be available at the November 7th meeting.

6,7,8 REC Basketball Registrations accepted Nov. 4 - 15, 2019/ Placements/Practice Nov. 19, 2019 RES: $45.00 NONRES: $55.00 Grades 6 - 8 players will have a practice Monday, November 18, 2019 from

Age Youth Karate Tuesdays/ Monthly Classes/ 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. RES: $35.00 NONRES: $45.00 For students ages 12 through high school age. Longtime instructor Gary West

teaches this instructional class with a focus on the skills and etiquette of the Goju Karate Do style. This class will

further develop a student’s self confidence, self control, and respect. Students should be able to maintain concentration

for extended periods of time.

HS Chuck, Duck, and Dive Dodgeball Tournament Friday, December 27, 2019/ 9:00 a.m. start $25.00 per team. Coed. Get eight friends together, come up with a catchy name, and enter to be in this Round Robin,

single elimination tournament. Fun guaranteed. Must have three females on court at all times. Stop by our main office to

pick up a roster and copy of rules.

AD Adult Aerobics Class Mondays and Wednesdays/ Monthly Classes/ 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. RES: $15.00/month NONRES: $20.00/month This energizing workout incorporates aerobics, weights, and conditioning

to give you the workout you deserve. Participants should bring an exercise mat. Join the class anytime, you’ll be glad

you did!

AD Adaptive Yoga Thursdays/ Monthly Classes/ 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. RES: $12.00 NONRES: $15.00 Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor Bunny Barclay leads folks with M.S. and other physical

challenges through exercises to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and to increase the mind’s ability to focus and relax

through self awareness. Bunny will also teach postures, guided relaxation, and meditation.

AD Adult Karate Class Tuesdays/ Monthly Classes/ 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. RES: $35.00 NONRES: $45.00 Participants learn the skills and etiquette of the Goju Karate Do style. Along with

fitness, this class will further develop a student’s self confidence, self control, and respect. The class focuses on karate

cardiovascular fitness with an emphasis on advancing at your own pace. A monthly schedule is provided that includes

any changes in class times.

SR Senior Self Defense and Awareness Class Wednesday January, 8, 2020/ 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. ALL: $2.00 Learn to be safe by being aware, along with other useful tips by Fran Manzie, Krav Maga Black Belt, U.S.

Navy veteran, retired police officer that includes 20 years with the Tactical Patrol and SWAT team.

Coming Spring 2020… PK Mighty Munchkins Baseball Mondays, Wednesdays/ April 27 - May 20, 2020/ 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. RES: $35.00 NONRES: $40.00 Registrations accepted starting Monday, April 6, 2020. Learn to love baseball by starting with the basic skills of throwing, fielding, base running, and hitting with fun games and drills followed with a few innings of game play. Meets on Doyle Field. This league is for our friends ages 4 and 5 and not yet in kindergarten.

K-1 Little Sluggers Baseball League Mondays, Wednesdays/ April 27-May 20, 2020/ 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. RES: $35.00 NONRES: $40.00 Registrations accepted starting Monday, April 6, 2020. Little Sluggers continues the young baseball experience of emphasizing the basics of baseball through throwing, fielding, hitting, base running drills. Players will have the option to use a tee or face live pitching. These skills are used first hand in games each day. Meets on Doyle Field.

AD Spring Volleyball League Monday - Wednesdays/ 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Coed Teams: $95.00 Women’s Teams: $90.00 NONRES: $10.00/player Enter your team for this action filled seven week season wrapped up with a double elimination playoff. Team paperwork is available for pick up on February 18, 2020. Rosters should be submitted on or before Wednesday, March 4, 2020 to our main office. Team fees can be paid online at brewerrec.com or turned into the main office.

Registration and refunds: Registrations can by made online at brewerrec.com or by stopping into our main

office at 318 Wilson Street in Brewer. Any program fee will be refunded in full with withdrawal from the class prior to

the first meeting. Refunds after the first meeting will be done on a prorated basis. Any person dismissed from a

program may not be entitled to a refund.

Savvy Si t ters Babys i t t ing Class

Grades 5 - 8

RES: $25.00 NONRES: $30.00

Learn skills that will make you the most requested babysitter on the block! Students will learn to care for infants

through school age children. Skill will include; safety, first aid, age appropriate games and projects, organization,

and responsibility.

Brewer Community School students may take the bus from the school to the Brewer Rec for this class. Parents should call the

school’s main office to request a bus pass for their student.
