Pathways to LearningJoin us this Fall Semester!

Classes begins Sept. 4

bts.education

We are very excited about kicking off a new year of IGNITE as the Lord continues to bless this 4th–6th grade ministry. During our Wednesday night Bible studies this year, we will learn how to Fight the Good Fight and persevere in faith through the trials and temptations that we face. Our goal is that students would learn the seriousness of their sin and see the need to fight it and not sit idly by, while also understanding that true victory over sin only

comes from Christ and His work on the cross and in our hearts. Along with Bible study, our Wednesday nights include free play time in the gym, games for everyone and time for small groups and learning how to apply our weekly lesson to the students’ lives. We meet from 6:15–8:00 p.m. in the Briarwood Church Gym.

Along with our Wednesday night Bible studies, we also have several extra events throughout the year that can be found on our IGNITE web page. The first event will be our IGNITE Kickoff—Sat., Aug. 25 from 2:00–5:00 p.m. Come help us kick off our year in the biggest way possible, and enjoy an afternoon of inflatables, games and prizes. All 4th–6th graders are invited.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support and praise the Lord for the things He is doing in the lives of our 4th–6th grade children.

For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 4:5–6

The Lord has provided us with a wonderful multi-

use facility at Briarwood. We are blessed to have

many scheduled (and unscheduled) ministry activities

each and every week. Please be very patient when

traveling around perimeter road during the school year,

particularly during the carpool times.

When the carpool line has stopped on Perimeter Road,

please remember children may be crossing the crosswalk

to parking lot “A” and are not visible until they reach the

middle of the crosswalk. If you must pass in the “middle”

lane, proceed with extreme caution at about 4 miles per

hour—the safety of our children depends on it.
