BEVERLEY Nestling on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, and under the shadow of its 13th century Minster, Beverley is a popular destination, thanks to its picturesque narrow streets, antique shops, historic buildings, shopping centres, Georgian Quarter and year-round events. Renowned for its historical architecture, picturesque racecourse and traditional tearooms, Beverley is also home to a host of festivals throughout the year, and Beverley’s vibrant Saturday Market - boasting more than 90 stalls - dates back to the Middle Ages.
SEWERBYThe award winning attraction of Sewerby Hall and Gardens is the place to visit in 2016. Uniquely situated in a dramatic cliff top position with spectacular views over
Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers something for everyone from the magnificent gardens to the deep rooted heritage of the house.
FLAMBOROUGHLocated on the north side of the magnificent Flamborough Headland. North Landing beach is a beautiful expanse of sand, white pebbles and rock pools. It is a perfect spot for a family day out where you can have a picnic. You can also visit the working lighthouse and enjoy the magnificent views from the cliff top.
BRIDLINGTON OLD TOWN It’s not all about the sun, sea and sand, a world away from the bustling beaches, the Old Town offers a slower pace of life. Take a stroll through the Medieval streets browse the unique shops and galleries. The Old Town has much heritage and history, you can visit the stunning Priory Church which dates back to 1113AD and was originally one of England’s leading monasteries and discover more about Bridlington’s rich history in the Bayle Museum.
BEMPTON Bempton village is well known for its cliffs. Bempton Cliffs is a RSPB nature reserve, best known for its breeding seabirds, including Northern Gannet, Atlantic Puffin, Razorbill, Common Guillemot, Black-legged Kittiwake and Fulmar. It is one of the best places in England to see seabirds. More than 200,000 birds during the months of April to August make the cliffs a fascinating and lively place for a visit.
DANES DYKE Danes Dyke Nature Reserve acquires its name from the ancient ditch and bank earthwork, which runs through the reserve. The beach is very flat and sandy, with a pebble and rock area closer to the cliffs, You can find crabs and other marine life in the rock pools for a great day out. Arriving in the car park the woodlands of the reserve stretch out in all directions. This reserve is very steep with lots of steps.

BRIDLINGTON OLD TOWNYO16 4QA
Areas of Westgate, High Street and St.
Johns Avenue were transformed for
filming into Walmington-on-Sea.
Street furniture that would look
out of place in the 1940s was
removed and the roads had a
temporary surface laid to remove
any sign of modern day road
markings.
Businesses and homes became
film sets and everyone worked
together to keep life as normal as
possible during filming.
