Instead of waiting until the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier is over, we are throwing our Volunteer Appreciation Party to kick things off with a bang!
WHERE: The Patch (Memorial Arena) WHEN: 7:00pm – 9:00pm WHAT: Dinner served with Cash Bar available Team introductions at 9:00pm open the Fan Appreciation Party with past Seasons of Champions favourites, “The Chevelles”, taking the stage to entertain the crowd.
Please wear your accreditation and present your ticket to receive your complimentary dinner and drink, as this is a volunteer exclusive event. An RSVP was required and tickets were presented at the second Volunteer Rally.
If you have yet to pick up your uniform and accreditation, you can do so prior to your first shift at the Interior Savings Centre. If you do not have your accreditation photo, we will be taking them at the Interior Savings Centre when you pick up your uniform. For those in Bar Services and Banking, your Patch t-‐shirts will be at the Memorial Arena at your meeting. If you miss the meeting, your shirt will be available upon arrival at your first shift in the Patch.
Please note that there will be no specified volunteer parking areas or passes available during the Brier. As spaces in the Interior Savings Centre lot are limited, we suggest using carpools or using your volunteer accreditation for free transportation on the city transit buses. Nearby parking options may include on street parking, parking garages on Lansdowne and St. Paul, and other controlled parking lots nearby. Any fees attached to parking are at your own expense and please respect local business parking spots for customers.
