cylinders etc. are manufactured to international standards and are approved and

certified.

• Benefits – No Residue, Electrically Non Conductive, Colourless, Odourless.

• Applications – Occupied Areas/ Electronic and Data Asset protection.

• HFC227 EA is widely accepted as the replacement to Halon 1301.

3M™ Novec™ 1230

3M™ Novec 1230 ( fluoroketone – a proprietary 3M™ technology) is a Fire

protection fluid which has the key features defining sustainable clean agent

protection and is considered the next generation Halon replacement.

Unlike HFC’s Novec has a zero ozone depletion potential.

Five day atmospheric lifetime.

A global warming potential of one.

A large margin of safety for occupied spaces.

The Concept of Water Mist

• Until recent years watermist was believed not to be as effective as other gaseous

systems for suppressing fires however, as technology has improved, the size of

the water droplets has decreased to such a fine spray that watermist can now be

used on electrical fires such as transformers.

• Watermist does not cover all classes of fire but is a cost effective and Eco friendly

solution to suppressing a fire.

• Our systems are all low pressure and do not use the same amount of water as

opposed to a high pressure system however, just as effective.

• Innovative rotor technology generates a very fine mist and can now be used on

Class A, B, C and F fires.

Rotormist System

• EnviroMist™ RotorMist Fire Protection System

• Designed in accordance with NFPA 750 (Standard on Water Mist Fire Protection

Systems) as an alternative to other systems using halons, CO₂ or other gases and

substances harmful to the environment, as well as sprinkler or foam systems using

large quantities of water.

• Benefits – 50% - 60% Water Saving, 100% Eco Friendly, Self contained System i.e.

no pump required. Cooling Effect – reduces temperature rapidly, minimal or no

collateral damage, shielding from radiant heat, no thermal or static shock, easy to

maintain and recharge, readily available. Room integrity not required.

• Applications – Transformers, Turbines, Generators, Electrical Substations.

Nitrogen and water to produce very fine particles of water mist (55-75

microns).

• Brigit’s GreenMist™ T-rotor technology generates a very fine water mist that is

proving to be extremely effective in the extinguishing of most types of fires (Class

A, B, C and F).

• The firefighting effectiveness of water is directly proportional to its surface area

that comes into contact with fire. Due to the microscopic droplet size (50 to 65

microns) achieved with this new technology, the surface area of the water is

greatly increased.
