2013 BRILLIANCE GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

INFORMATION: $3,000* - Awarded to outstanding Navarro College Ellis County graduate who provides evidence

of definite plans for continuing his/her study at a four-year college or university.

*Amount of scholarship may vary due to availability of funds.

The awarded amount may be received up to TWO semesters provided student

maintains a 3.0 GPA and full-time status (minimum of 12 semester hours).

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

Note: any incomplete application packet will not be considered

Navarro College Ellis County student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 in the fall and at graduation

(completion of spring semester)

The student MUST graduate in the spring 2013 and have completed at least forty (40) hours of classroom andinternet course work at Navarro College Ellis County campuses. He/She must have met ALL requirements for an

associate degree by the end of the spring semester of 2013.

STUDENT MUST RESIDE IN ELLIS COUNTY AND ATTENDED ELLIS COUNTY CAMPUSES.

INSTRUCTIONS:

The following must be post mark or received by Noon, April 12, 2013:

o Application for the Brilliance Graduate Scholarshipo A written proposal describing in detail the educational program to be pursuedo Letter of intent from the chosen four-year universityo Three letters of recommendationo Navarro College transcripto Copy of transfer transcript (college(s) attended prior to Navarro, if applicable)o Current degree plan (under which you will receive your degree at graduation)

Applicants must also complete an interview by the Brilliance Graduate Selection Committee.

(You will be contacted regarding where and when your interview will be inducted)

Graduate Brilliance recipients will be announced during the Graduation Ceremony.
