In collaboration with Alfred Sargent, Herring Shoes also present their latest collection of high quality, premium shoes.The Alfred Sargent brand founded in 1899 by Alfred Sargent himself and his two sons shares Herring Shoes’ synonymous with quality English shoemaking. The collaborative collection comprises of four key styles: Fiennes, Drake, Raleigh and Shackelton, which forms part of Herring Shoes’ Premier range. The styles are crafted on Herring’s new 1966 list, in recognition of their founding year, and hand-made bespoke in Northampton by Alfred Sargent to Herring’s own design and specification. The Herring Shoes Collection is made up of four distinctive designs: Premier, Classic, Continental and Casuals. Premier is the pinnacle of English hand- made footwear designed by Adrian Herring to the highest specifications. In this collection, designs include Charles II, a stylish Oxford lace shoe available in Black Calf; Churchill, a plain toecap Oxford in Black or Dark Leaf Brown Calf, which is a natural companion to navy and grey lounge suits, tweeds and country checks or even blue denim and a blazer; Drake, a wonderful Oxford cap style shoe available in Antique Chestnut and Oxblood Calf; Jagger, perhaps modelled on The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, is an Oxford shoe made from the finest ‘mock croc’ leathers and sprinkled with Rock ‘n’ Roll stardust in Black and Brown Mock Croc. All the above shoes are designed with full leather lining, Goodyear welted leather sole and leather quarter rubber tip heels except for Drake and Raleigh which both have Oak Bark leather soles. The Classic collection made up of stylish Goodyear welted shoes includes Ellington available in Tan and Caramel or Black and Grey; 1920s themed Gatsby in Shadow and Antique Beige; Greenwich II, a monk style shoe with a medallion on the toe in Black Calf or Chestnut Calf; Knightsbridge, the classic toecap Oxford shoe with a rounded toe in Black, Chestnut Burnished or Tobacco Calf, and also Black Polish is a staple of any man’s wardrobe; and Shakespeare II, an elegant twin buckle monk shoe with toecap detail reminiscent of William Shakespeare’s era is available in Black, Burgundy and Chestnut Calf, and also Brown Suede.
