Training


Installing the Toolkit

• To download and install, go to:

http://go.emersonprocess.com/regulator-toolkit

1. Fill out all required fields.

2. Check the box if you want to be notified of promotions, new product information, etc.

3. Click “Download Software” button to proceed.

4. After clicking the “Download Software” button, you’ll be prompted to Run or Save the program (if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser). Click “Run” to proceed with the installation.

5. If you are prompted a second time, click “Run” again.

NOTE: If you’re using Google Chrome, after clicking the “Download Software” button, it will automatically download the software. Go to your downloads folder and look for the installer file. Open the file.



6. A toolkit setup wizard will appear. Click the “Next” button twice and then click “Install”. It will automatically start installing.

7. When installation completes, click the “Finish” button.

NOTE: After installation, a

shortcut of the application will be

automatically created in your

desktop for easy access.



8. After installation, go to your desktop or Start Menu and locate the Regulator Toolkit application. Open the application.

9. A new window will appear. Welcome to Regulator Toolkit application.

NOTE: To make sure you have the latest

software, check the version number at

the bottom-right of the application.


Home Screen

You can navigate from either of the two menus.


Document Search

1. Input search parameters.

2. Click the “Search” button.

Tip: This

downloads all

the documents to

your computer.

Tip: A Blue

check means the

document has

already been

downloaded to

your computer.

Search results

appear here.


Tools

Choose any tool

Tip: This opens a help

document which explains

how to use the toolkit.


Tools: Calculator

2. Enter number to calculate.

1. Choose calculation.

3. Click “Calculate”.


Tools: Regulator Selection Wizard

2. Click “Search”.

1. Enter parameters.

3. Results will appear here. Double-clicking on a result takes you to the literature for that product.


Tools: Gas Regulator Sizing Program

2. Click “Calculate”.

1. Enter parameters here.

3. Results appear here.


Tools: Update Wizard

This tool runs automatically after clicking “Update Wizard” from the Tools screen.


Animations

Choose a product or application and the animation opens in a separate window.
